Would Cheetaman count? The game has a supposed win condition that's not a joke, but you can't get to it because the game really realy sucks.
Then again, by a current perspective, that game IS a joke. Hmmm.
You can score points in tetris hell.
Difficult as fuck, but it can be done.
Please.Would that be a Game-Breaking Bug?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! That's what I'd say. If the end is unreachable via glitch it's Game-Breaking Bug, but if the developer's designed it that way it would be Unwinnable Joke Game or whatever.
Reaction Image RepositorySo, if we're asking about finding a new pic for Unwinnable by Design, I know that Irregular Webcomic had a strip that dealt with this trope. Maybe we could have a pic (or even a series of panels) or something that pointed this trope out? I'm thinking a character finds them-self screwed and wishes he choose a different option way back when or something?
Yes. It's basically a quote with window dressing.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Clock is set.
I propose non-pictureable, partly due to the bad trope name.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
Yeah, the distinction there is that an Endless Game simply doesn't have any "win" condition. An unwinnable joke game has a clear win condition that can never be reached.
