This trope is really all over the place....
Its just seemingly random elements matching skintone with hair, Darkskin meaning outgoing with most are Red-Headed Hero (with a bit of a outdoorsy bouncy, energetic maybe Genki Boy thing going on fitting the skin type) while the girls are the Heroes Want Redheads (with a bit of that same personality thing) which are in most of the anime examples in "a he stands out" kinda way since there is never another darkskinned person around them (usually) and paired with an The Ojou proper type for Red Oni, Blue Oni, the rest are just random dark skinned with Red hair.
Then there is this...
WTF is this trope really?
I mean the Anime thing is a very recognizable stereotype and very trope worthy. But others?... no.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!This trope doesn't have a lot of requirements. Dark skin. Red hair. After that, it's just a matter of preference.
Personally, I'd go with Shayla-Shayla

That doesnt seem like a trope though... its about as big of a trope as Blue Eyes.... As well as read the description (the description is very trope worthy)
Looking at the examples lets see Zero No Tsukaima◊ Twelve kingdoms◊ Sousou Ikki Tousen◊ Sun quan DynastyWarriors 6◊
These are examples on the page...

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!In that case, it may be time to review the choices of people on the page. Gene may be throwing off what people perceive as being appropriately dark-skinned.
I've read the description...and I have no idea what this trope even is. Is it just redheads with dark skin? If so, is there any reason why that specifically is a trope? Is it about odd combinations of ethnicity and hair color? If so, why the hell does it have its current title?
And what does the line about dark-skinned people with dark hair have to do with anything?
This needs a TRS badly.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI thought the point was redheads on people with dark skin was being exotic, since such people would be brunette.
Same applies to Dark Skinned Blond.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.INUH, my impression is that it's two stereotypes mixed together in a way that's generally thought to be impossible.
Dark skin: athletic, energetic personality.
Red hair: Fiery Redhead or possibly the first half of Red Oni, Blue Oni.
Fight smart, not fair. And it's a specific type of Implausible Hair Color.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Got any particular pictures that show the trope, not just the physical description?
Fight smart, not fair.I support bringing this to TRS, but if the personality the trope must carry is "adventurous and outgoing" then why, the original picture looks the part.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. We have Din◊, the Oracle Of Seasons.
I think that reflects "a bouncy, energetic, fiery personality".
EDIT: changed pic to higher quality version.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.On the other hand, she's not that dark-skinned there.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Hmm, good point. I think that picture might have been lightened. Here◊ is a higher quality version. Here's an in-game shot◊ of her, though unfortunately she's facing away from the camera.
And as long as I'm searching Zelda stuff, I may as well throw Nabooru◊ out there.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.Bump...how about Sari◊ Sumdac◊ from◊ Transformers Animated?
Bump...any other thoughts?
Nabooru would work...
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."Yeah several of the examples aren't dark, they're tan. I don't think they should count unless they're obviously brown.
How about Marena from Keychain of Creation? She's outgoing and energetic and wild.
OK, a bunch of pages of Marena being "fiery" and/or "adventurous":

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Clock is set.
Not crazy about any of those.
That's pretty good.
I think the current image is good enough. Image Links for the rest.

In the show, he's a bit tan, but that's not what this trope is.
