I'm getting back into the game to prepare myself. While someone did explain how dodge offset works, this youtube video really helped me understand it better. I'm also watching yosheque's LP of Bayonetta as well.

Also a small part of the game where you have to protect Cereza and are forced to use objects in the environment to attack angels because you can't damage them normally from the real world.

… which was a painfully tedious sequence, by the way. evil grin Ah, as I thought, I really can't get used to Bayo's new design…

Also… am I dreaming? The game is gonna have Japanese voices? surprised

[up] … damn I already sold the game, don't make me want to play it again. TT^TT

Bayonetta 1 already had Bayonetta saying things in Japanese at times...

I think when she did really good at a verse?

And why sell a game you want to get the sequel for! How could you compare then?

Yeah "jūnen hayain da yo!" (a reference to I don't remember what), but that was more of an Easter Egg. surprised

And I sold it because, well… I had pretty much finished it as much as you can finish a game. I'm not touching the sequel any time soon anyway since I don't plan on buying a Wii U.

I'm keeping Bayonetta 1 not just on principle, but because maybe one day I'll get all platinum trophies on normal and the platinum ticket and maybe even finish the Lost Chapter. [lol]

Eh, if ever I find the time.

Anyway, just saw Bayonetta Blöödy Fäte. It's like a compressed retelling of the first game, with a few things in a different order, and a LOT more emotion.

Bayonetta and Father Balder talk a whole lot more and care a lot more about Bayonetta's mom, which seems to clash just a tinge with Bayonetta's typical I-don't-care attitude.

But the outfit she wears in the hotel is hot. And the ending song is nice.

Still, I focus on the video game version. That's a lot more fitting.

I like the idea of Bayonetta being more thoughful. The devil-may-careness of Dante was thematically fitting. It didn't really fit Bayonetta.

Morrigan Aensland, on the other hand, most certainly does (suggestive).

Wii-U fans cannot comprehend that some people just don't want to buy the system and find it unappealing.

Like it's seriously one of Ninty's most disappointing home consoles ATM. Bayo and Smash NEED to live up to the hype, seriously.

So Bloody Fate was decent enough then? Was the fighting good? And shame on you lot, not getting the Virtua Fighter reference.

Bloody Fate was very OVA. Quality animation, but the story wasn't much better than the main game's.

Well game-based anime tend to be that way, sadly.

He could be drawing a similarity in regards to paid exclusives, though it still feels like a non-sequitor (and B2 is a different case in any event. This game wouldn't exist without Nintendo's money, rather than Nintendo's money keeping it off other platforms)

More of the new battle theme, though much of it is a bit drowned out by Iwata and the various sound effects.

There's lyrics in the video description, though I'm none too sure of their accuracy.

Not sure if I like more than Destiny, but it seems okay.

It's a bit too teen-poppy sounding, as opposed to Destiny's sexier feel. But only from the part I heard.

Ahhhhhahahaha. [lol] Link and Samus costumes.

Hm, Bayonetta in Hell, fighting the same demons who helped her beat the angels? Such intrigue.

I didn't think I'd need the first game with it too—maybe I will replay it. And maybe they'll have a lot more content with it.
