I didn't know that… but frankly I really can't imagine what a Bayonetta 2
would look like. The gameplay of Bayonetta
is so deep and the content so fleshed out that a sequel could bring only superficial additions. The same way Ōkamiden
mostly added a lot of confusion to the plot, but not much improvment to the gameplay compared to Ōkami
Story-wise, well, Bayonetta destroyed the Cardinal Virtues and punched God into the sun, so one can wonder what happened to Paradiso after that… would a sequel be a Mooks but No Bosses
game? In the first game we also fought what was supposed to be the strongest Elite Mooks
of Paradiso (Joys, Braves, Gracious and Glorious) and kicked the ass of a Fallen Angel
feared by God herself.
So what remains we could fight in a sequel?! Nah, really, this game is better off by staying unique.
