Doesn't look that much off-topic to me. feo wins the argument against mine.

Reading the link on the first page, it does seem a bit strange. This one could understand if the main reason against fertilisation was the number of discarded fetuses, but it seems that an on article is focused on "negative effect on family". Considering that church tends to think that it is necessary for family to have children, that all rhetoric concerning difference between biological and social parenting can be just as easily (even more easily, actually, for in cases of fertilisation usually at least one biological parent provides genetic material) be used against adoption, and that infertile people are allowed to marry, it seems to be somewhat contradictory.

IVF permits otherwise barren couples to have their own children. I see no problem with it.

Then again, I don't fetishize embryos. The embryos that get frozen and later destroyed aren't developed fetuses with their own functioning brains, they're non-sentient, not yet alive clumps of 64-128 cells.

Actually, Savage Heathen's use is much close to the original meaning, as far as this one knows. But that's nitpicking, and this one might be mistaken.

@joeyjojo - that's a sad story sad, how is your aunt now?

I haven't heard from her recently because to be honest, I don't like her much. She's kind of like the TC: unnecessarily and aggressively confrontational about anything remotely political.

They never travel alone.
