The SubjectivitronI read the Rank Inflation page, and from I remember, that trope is about "rankings above normally-used ones, " like rank S, AA, SSS+, or V. However, when I read that page, most of the examples were "this is the ranking system and all its ranks." I think we need to trim the examples of this thing so that it fits back into the real definition. (First TRS attempt, this could get a bit messy.)
Movin' to YMMV, that's what I do!
Rabid FujoshiThe trope makes it looks like it's Video Game only, and it's obviously not, considering how many Anime Examples there are, I'd say expand on the description. Lots of anime especially have rankings that are higher than A, with S usually being it, and if there's higher then that it might be SS. It does look like a few examples here don't fit the higher-than-A part which is the whole point of the trope. So I say go ahead and cut those.

Io vs JupiterYeah, the trope is specifically about commonly-used ranking systems (eg, school-style A through F letter grades, Olympic style bronze/silver/gold, percentages) where you can get higher than that system normally goes (eg, S above A in letter grades, platinum above gold in Olympic ranks, numbers above 100 in percentages). If there are examples that don't do that (skimming them, I see some that obviously don't belong), then just remove them.
I see the Awesomeness.Tag fixed, you have to use the pothole thing. We've also got real life examples. For instance AAA ratings in economics.
The 11th GroverHeh, the credit risk scale/bond rating is ridiculous for all that. I don't even know if it even fits on the trope, per se, because its rankings aren't at all what you might expect. Its lowest rank depends on which agency you look at - it could be either B, C, or D. I think discussion of those might actually belong on Random Power Ranking, because I can't make heads or tails of whether AAA credit risk rating is this trope or not. Hilariously, I found one scale (A.M. Best) that uses S rank for its absolute worst rank. I think it is fair to include mention of all the ranks involved in the inflation, but we can leave out the ranks that would be a bit more standard.
Dragon WriterRandom Power Ranking isn't the scale, but that characters are actually ranked (in-universe) on things you wouldn't otherwise expect to have a scale in the first place.
The 11th GroverHmm... so it is. Maybe a new Unusual Ranking System trope should be made, then.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
