Let's see.. (Note, all of these are for the Male MC)
Fool leads to Judgement. (You see, because both are automatic, and one starts when the other ends...)
Hierophant leads to Temperance.
Chariot directly leads to Strength and indirectly leads to Star.
Hanged Man leads to Sun.
Hermit leads to Devil.
I want to say Fortune leads to Priestess, but it could be possible to get Priestess without doing Fortune as long as you have the stat requirement. I never tried though.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head, sorry.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.For the female PC it's mostly the same, except that Strength and Star aren't connected to the Chariot, and Fortune is different as well. There are also flags for the Hanged Man and Tower links, if I remember correctly - I think Chariot provides one of them, but I forget which or where the other comes from.

I think it's Strength that leads into Tower.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.I seem to recall that Magician leads to something, but it's slipping my mind what.
Moon, at least in the MC's path.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.Took me a while to notice the social link (forgot the name) with that ugly monk. I hear it's the easiest to max out, though. Maybe it took a while because I just generally didn't often spend my nights at that area.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"That's the Tower link with Mutatsu. Devil is easier though; it levels up every time you see him, and it's also a evening link, so doesn't really conflict with much else.
It certainly didn't level up every time I saw him. I remember lots of generic "Whathisface taught you about business..." messages. Maybe I didn't suck up enough to him.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Odd. Maybe it's because I always have the related arcana when I do social links?
Having a Persona of the relevant Arcana helps a lot. Your dialogue choices during the link will also influence how quickly it ranks up, of course.
It's kinda a Persona tradition to have the one minor NPC teacher/faculty member who is a complete douche and may or may not end up dead. The first two games had Hanya, P3 had Ekoda, and P4 had Mooroka.
Ekoda and Mooroka never got to be boss fights, so they automatically lose to Hanya in my book.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.At least Mitsuru does... something to Ekoda to get him back for that.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.I always greatly enjoy the second to last rank of the female PC's Hermit s.link for that reason. It's not a punch to the face, but blocking him from entering the PA room and getting backed up by Ms. Toriumi and Ms. Ounishi is gratifying nonetheless.
There's also the asshole principal from Persona 2, and the transhumanist science teacher from if...
That was Hanya. He was a returning character from Persona 1. And you fight him as the first boss in Innocent Sin.
I forgot about the If... guy. All I know is that, despite making himself into a cyborg, he didn't die, as he cameos in one of P2P's Climax Theater quests.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Ah, I remember him from Persona now. I didn't realize they were the same guy.
if... should really get a remake. Starring Malcolm Mc Dowell!
PS2 classic Persona 3: FES hits PSN tomorrow
^ What the title said.
I want it, if only because the European FES runs at like half the American version's speed.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks. This thread, while it used to be a P4 thread, is now a general Persona thread.
The game will usually tip you off about social links opening up, especially early on. If the narrative or a classmate comments about, for example, a store opening or an unusual person seen in a certain location, it's probably a social link flag you should check out. Some social links lead into others - the Hierophant link includes a flag for the Temperance link, for instance.
