Finally found a trailer that will make you tear up even more than the Dead Island trailer.
To the Moon has sort of an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind plot, revolving around a reverse-chronological story that spans a life time, about two doctors traversing through the memories of a dying man to fulfill his last wish.
"Imagine a world where doctors can rework your memory in order to grant your greatest wish… but there's just one catch: It will be the last thing you'll ever remember. If you had the chance to relive your life, would you change things? Would you try to achieve some grand goal? Could you find love? Fame? Fortune? Or would you realize that sometimes the past is meant to stay the same. Join Dr. Rosalene and Watts on their journey and travel To The Moon."
Okay, that backstory said, check out the trailer:
You can pre-order the soundtrack here and receive 7 tracks instantly.
Why? Because To the Moon is worth it.
Anyways, I finished a walkthrough without commentary today. My heart hurts now. I cried multiple times ad it was amazing. The whole story with Johnny and River was touching and the final memory was just...all of my tears. All of them. I liked the humor, too, as it lightened up the mood in between depressing scenes.
"FREE PONY RIDES IN SPAAAAAACE!" x3 Oh Neil, you so funny.
Till I found out you were addicted. I said to myself, "OMG Neil no you too good for this!" Good sequel bait, though. And then the soundtrack...more feels! ALL OF THE FEELS!
I bought it this morning, and finished it in about four hours.
Those were some of the best four hours I've ever spend in my life. Absolutely beautiful.
Quick question though: is there some incentive to finish Act 1 by preparing all mementos with as few moves as possible? Like, a secret ending or something, or just a few extra lines of dialogue?
People say I have a problem with authority. I say that authority has a problem with me.
