At least they got rid of the Spsiny Shell in battle mode. Nintendo was on crack when they thought it was a good idea to do it in Wii.

Also, Petey Piranha really needs to appear in another Mario Kart.

I also noticed something about MK 7. It has no Ghost Valley/Boardwalk tracks!

I'm not quite sure. Mario Kart Wii had some stupid characters (Baby Peach and Baby Daisy), but the idea of having a large amount was a good one.

I'd like to see them include the Koopalings and Professor E. Gadd in a future Mario Kart installment. That would make about half of a decent roster right there.

Although that may lessen the wild variety of characters (9 Koopa-dragon hybrids with spiky shells), which was probably what the developers were going for when they chose characters like Queen Bee to be in 7...

I think one or two of the Koopalings should be playable though, especially Ludwig.

Please don't justify the inclusion of Honey Queen. She sucks and has no good reason to be playable.

Well there not using Mellow and Geno

It's Mallow. With an "a".

And quite frankly, Geno doesn't fit in as a Mario character. He'd actually work better in Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. He's too Square Enix-ish.

They had permission from Square to grant Geno a cameo appearance.

Why are Square so stingy about lending their Super Mario RPG characters? They just sit there doing nothing; its not like they're gonna use them in anything.

It's still their characters, used or not. Unless Nintendo or whoever else wants to be sued for using someone else' creation without permission....

I really don't get why people clamor for Geno so much. Aside from being a good party member in SMRPG, there's nothing much going for him. Heck, Mallow has a lot more screen time and personality than him!

I guess those are the reasons, but we are starting to get off topic again. Back on track, it's hard to do group races. People always quit per race.

@Marioguy - I don't clamour for him. Like I said before, he doesn't fit in as a Mario character.

Personally, I liked Mallow more than Geno, but maybe I'm just weird.

Mellow is a marshmallow just like Kirby
