Banning discussion of a site doesn't seem like a very nice policy.
But as for the article itself, BS pretty much is hell-bent on going against anything that is popular on the internet to provoke reaction. To what end, I don't know. To feel superior I guess. The article just focuses on the disturbing fringes of the fandom, because why not, while the mainstream of the brony fandom is civil and deliberately shy away from eroticizing the show.
