I have to say, the e3 footage for this game looked awesome. so glad they rescued it from the dump.

They can't call it True Crime though. Activision owns the IP naming rights.

I laughed so hard at that.

I have barely any interest in True Crime, but I would buy that alone for the name.

What I liked about the first True Crime game was how it captured the feel of an almost-comedy cop movie like Lethal Weapon (but minus the buddy cop part) really well. The gameplay made it a poor mans GTA 3, though.

I'm actually quite curious to see how this will go. I'm very interested in an action game set in Hong Kong. That seems like quite a lot of effort gone into a live action trailer for a video game.

Funny question: why the hell did they make the characters at the end of the video read from down to up?

The graphics in that trailer ARE amazing. Best ever!

I wonder how much of the game will actually be in Cantonese. I'd be super-stoked about that, but I can see it being a somewhat bone-headed move. Maybe it'll just be an option.

My interest has increased based on the gameplay footage we have seen thus far. Batman Arkham City melee + Just Cause car jumping + Max Payne slow-mo? I'm in.

Reports of actual gameplay based on the current build are... not encouraging. (Laggy, simple combat, etc.)
