The creatures Shotaro was aiming at were apparently not used to this sort of full-on attack, and before they could even think to dodge, they were sent scattering, knocked head over heels by their own skidding chopper. A couple of others were struck by the hellfire from Scorpion, knocking them off their bikes and tumbling to the ground.

When Doviculus appeared, however, there seemed to be a change in their demeanor. Some of the creatures started to turn tail and flee away from the demonic emperor, others got caught up staring and nearly lost control of their vehicles. A couple, though, were brave enough to charge straight for him, flinging the metal spheres as they did.

The tick choppers attacking the Doom obviously weren't prepared to be attacked by lightning from above, and though most dodged around to continue uphill towards the others, several were knocked off their bikes, a couple of them clearly quite charred by the impact. Their bikes either rode off the edge of the trail and to the ground, or crashed into whatever obstacle they reached first...headstones or open graves alike.

Fletus paid this no mind, he was still gunning his car for Antroz.

Rey actually winced a bit...though it seemed slightly put-on more than genuine, and he flew back from the bees somewhat before diving towards a flat section of the ground. It seemed as though he were going to crash into it, but abruptly it was as though he simply went through it, vanishing into the dirt to leave the insects behind.

He was gone for a second, just long enough for the crowd to begin to murmur again, but then he reappeared on the other side of them, seemingly oozing up out of the ground, staying there, but still flapping his wings and hovering just above it-he apparently was taking some pleasure out of the act of flying.

"What are you doing here, you foul creature?" Lita demanded, brandishing her weapon.

"Well, I've always been such a fan of Ironheade, I just had to come and see Bladehenge for myself! And it's all just as amazing as I ever dreamed...the fields, the mountains, the wildlife..." He grinned slightly more, if that were possible. "The graveyard...oh I did so enjoy the graveyard..."

"Defiler..." Ophelia hissed, drawing both of her swords quickly.

"Oh and Lita...Lita, Lita, Queen Lita. You know, I always had an issue with you as the ruler. You didn't do a damned thing to improve Bladehenge's situation, did you? You moaned and bitched and complained during the whole war. You were a fucking albatross around Eddie's neck the entire time, you stupid bint."

"How dare you-," Lita started, actually moving forward, but being grabbed and yanked to a stop by Mangus stepping forward and gripping her arm.

"Oh I'm hardly done with you, Lita, but I'm in a bit of a hurry, you see. I just thought you might like to meet the newest recruit to my army. It took some doing to track him down, I thought it would have been easy, but there were guards to be dealt with and things to crack open and...oh, I'm just prattling, aren't I? Here...I'll bring him up for you to see."

Rey flew backwards, raising his arms over his head slowly, fingers pointing, as though he were a puppetmaster trying to guide his doll from the ground. Slowly, something did appear...a man, with the blueish skin that came from infection of the Tears, though seemingly in worse shape than usual, with patches of the skin missing and exposing muscle and rotted bone through. However, the man had a full head of thick blonde hair to his shoulders, dressed in a studded leather vest, black leather bracers on his arms, one of them spiked, one not, black leather pants and heavy brown boots, also somewhat studded. He wore a belt, attached to a scabbard, with a large sword tucked away into it...and he appeared to have a gaping wound in his stomach, though for whatever reason, it looked completely empty...merely a black void. The man stood limply, head down and arms slack, but he obviously stood under his own power simply enough.

There was a collective gasp yet again from the crowd, and Lita, Ophelia, and Mangus's eyes bulged immediately...and Lita, in the tiniest, most frightened and horrified voice anyone could have ever imagined coming from her, whispered one name.

"Lars...?"

Shotaro saw some of the Tick Choppers about to throw metal spheres at Doviculus. He drove up to then and snatched the spheres from their hands. He then turned the bike around and threw the spheres back at them.

"The wound is clean. Administering protocol. Clean wound, then apply dressing." A compartment opened on Model Hades' chest, revealing an emergency kit. Opening it up, he briefly sprayed an alcoholic solution on the wound to kill off the bacteria, before pulling out a sticky pad made with medicinal plant matter and applying it on the wound, the pad saturated with coagulants.

"It would be best for you to rest once we enter the castle." Model Hades recommended as he resumed his walk towards the rather aesthetically pleasing place, replete with Oriental designs and gardens. Pausing at the gate, Model Hades suddenly blurted out a thought process it thought needed an answer to. "Is living fun? And what is considered fun?" the machine uttered the rather philosophical question, attempting to comprehend the concept it's inventor gave it.

Seeing the revelation of the fallen warrior that Rey had corrupted and raised to serve him, Jack was not surprised that such an abomination had been created. But Lita and Ironheade's reaction clearly showed that this was more than a simple warrior, this man, this Lars, had been of critical importance to them, a leader, a visionary, or something even more. And now, to see him upon the side of the enemy...it could not be easy. Jack reached up over his shoulder and drew his sword with a faint ringing sound, steel glinting red in the sunset light.

"If all you have come here for is to try and break us with the fallen comrades whose forms you have stolen, then begone at once!" he shouted. "All you have done is give us further cause to destroy you!"

He glanced at Lita, greatly worried despite his bold words. The armies of Ironheade could not see their queen lose heart or they too would be afraid.

"Please, remember what you yourself told us. That is not your friend, it is not the man you knew, it is an abomindation that must be destroyed. You must prove this demon wrong. All his lies will be undone if you show that you are not afraid."

Huh. Usually that kept 'em distracted for a while longer. But I guess I wasn't dealin' with the usual suspects here, now was I? Then... somethin' esle happened. This guy, blonde hair, leather vest, came right outta' the ground. Bits'a skin and muscle rotted right off'a the bone. I leaned back a bit, surprised. This was the second time I'd seen a dead fella' come back up and I still hadn't gotten used to it. One'a those things I guess. When I regained my bearings, I fell back on the old instinct. A hand shot to by belt, wrapping around a handle. I pulled out the rivet gun, finger wrapped around the trigger. The clip glowed red. Heavy rounds. I leveled the gun at the dead guy's head...

And I pulled the trigger. Now, I've never shot a dead man, and I wasn't quite sure it'd work in the first place. But there's a first for everythin'.

Doviculus didn't acknowledge Dubix's rescue, though it was very much appreciated. Not that he'd show it. He rushed forward, a broad grin spread across his face. When he drew close enough, he took a swing at one of the bikes, intending to separate it from its rider.

Scorpion walked towards one of the fallen Chopper riders. The ninja, now aware that he could move freely, decided to make use of his movement to take down these Choppers.

Industrial metal began playing in the background. Scorpion smiled under his mask.

"KMFDM?" said the hellspawn. "I love this song. It puts me in a fighting mood..."

With that, he struck a fighting stance. He could still control his hellfire, so he set his fists ablaze for extra effect. He locked eyes with his new kombatant, then grabbed his spear and tossed it at the Chopper. The chain flew, the Kunai shined with sharpness, and Scorpion gave his classic battle cry.

"Get over here!"

Vile opened fire with his Vulcan cannon destorying some of the missle's before they reached him, but was still hit by some of them. Vile fell to the ground his legs having took to much damage. "I hate this, but I have no choice. The girl did too much damage to me, there is no way for me to win this fight."

Vile used only working arm to lift his torso up a bit. "I surrender Lord Nefarious. If you repair my body and spare my life, I will serve you as long as I live."

Xigbar had followed Jack and Delta to their present location. The Nobody popped his head out from behind Delta, curoius at the sight of a reanimated corpse that Evil!Rey had summoned. This guy must be important to the locals here. Looks like things are worse than before. Oh well, I have no problems dealing with this. He thought to himself as he simply watched the confrontation with barely concealed mirth.

Chun-li winced as the wound was sprayed and then bandaged to stop the bleeding. She glanced over to see familiar looking designs and gardens. She almost didn't hear Model Hades' question. Almost. Chun-li was stunned at the very philosophical question.

"Life... has its ups and downs," Chun-li said to the robot, trying to word the comments carefully. "What's considered fun differs with the person, I guess."

"I find watching Chinese opera fun and have made a hobby out of shooting targets," Chun-li smiled a bit. "Ranked sixth in the world... or well, my world!"

"It's really hard to define what fun means for another person," Chun-li concluded.

Mehir and his Efreet cronies cackled. The Efreeti raised their hands again, once again making bolts of energy spiral around them before sending them shrieking at the demon. Mehir, meanwhile, swiped his hand, launching the Magic Arrow at him, immediately forming another and launching it as well. "Begone, being of Chaos! Trouble this world no more!" he said.

Now that I think about it maybe I should have stayed on the ground. Let the people who can fly handle the work high up. Too late now.

Grey made the best approximation of a smile as he could with the rather limited mouth of Vulturon, although it was pretty obvious what the reploid was feeling. "Yeah, you can't take it, can you? Go back to the end of the line, I've got bigger fish to fry!"

However, when the Tick Choppers began throwing metal spheres at him, he merely jumped and hovered above the ground, the tattered fins along his arms providing some sort of propulsion, letting the spheres harmlessly sail past him. He had been about to retaliate when Doviculus made his appearance, sending thunderbolts crashing down from the sky. Though his body language made it clear that he was glad to see him, mentally Grey felt a wave of revulsion ride through him. The reploid didn't want to see him more than he had to. The comment about his being a 'betrayer' stung as well, even if it was true.

Apparently, there were still some Tick Choppers brave (or dumb) enough to make a stand, but Doviculus was already about to strike them. Dropping to the ground and following as quickly as he could, Grey raised his guitar in preparation for a vicious swing in case his Emperor missed, his flat red irises fixed on the oncoming primates.

"HA-HA!! Puuuuuusseeeeeeees!!" Flutterbitch cried after seeing the Tick Choppers flail all about, scattered by her attack. She landed on the ground, trotted up to a Tick that was recovering from a crash, and shoved a large gravestone with her flank upon the demon, the stone structure squashing it flat. "Oops!" she said, feigning regret, and then chuckling evilly.

She then saw a Tick trying to scale out of an open. "Oh, poor baby!" the pony said, sounding genuinely concerned. "Let me help you......" She reared up and stamped her hooves in the tick's fingers, a resounding series of cracks could be heard and the tick itself screaming in pain as it fell back into the hole. Flutterbitch then used her wings to sweep a large pile of dirt into the grave, burying the demon within. "Loser!" she said.

"Ah... Fun is subjective to individuals. Thank you." The mechanical being thanked Chun-Li as it took note.

Atop the leaf the climbing group reached was a trio of what looked like the Nitro the group encountered earlier, though the beak encrusted heads were made from metal and so were the limbs that protruded from its artificial fluff. There was one red unit, one brown, and the last was black. Turning their heads, the robots regarded the group for a few seconds before the black one opened up its beak vertical wise to reveal an innocuous metal barrel. Said barrel spewed forth a yellow laser that swept towards the group, the scent of frying ozone accompanied by the humming light wave.

On the ground, the real Nitro appeared, glancing upwards. It was unable to find any other worthy prey in the area, so it'll settle for its earlier mark... Said beast didn't even give Cletus a second glance, preoccupied on tracking its mark.

The calm automated voice of Raising Heart announced the spell, moments before Nanoha took aim and fired it. The bolts of pink magical energy tore towards the robotic Nitro duplicates from above. "Yeah," Chun-li nodded as she was carried by Model Hades, but was curious about something. "Who created you?"

Chun-li figured she might as well know, since she was not going to be moving any time soon because of her wounded left leg. She hated being this defenseless though. Until her leg was healed, she'd be unable to use her kicks without possibly agitating the leg again. It would be unwise to use any martial arts while she was injured because of it.

Byakuren rolled backwards, out of any possible line of fire for the yellow laser, and swung her sword at the Nitros. Normally, attacking with a sword at this sort of distance was a mark of extreme stupidity but, in this case, it had a positive effect; a curving line followed the arc of the sword, weakening with distance as it grew but still quite dangerous, rushed towards the birdlike creatures, its surface covered in the same patterns as the blade—which was, by now, a proper katana—itself.

Oh crap that's a big beam. As Tyrell climbed to the left to try to dodge he thought; And it stinks! And I can't dodge fast enough or I'll fall off! Um!

In panic Tyrell fired a steady stream of fireballs at the beam in an attempt to keep it away from him. As the beam got closer the time between each of his fireballs became less and less. Eventually they were so close together they simply fused into one solid beam of fire. Woah, cool! I'll have to remember this.

This beam deflected the laser a bit, but, not enough. Nothing for it.

Jumping down to avoid the laser Tyrell dug his axe into the stalk in hopes that it would slow his fall.

A couple of the monkey demons were hit by the returned metal spheres Shotaro threw, and they let out terrible screams as their own weapons were turned against them. When the metal spheres hit, they seemed to stick to their victim, sending up bursts of blood from the tiny creatures. In only a matter of seconds, the attacked beasts fell to the ground, deceased.

The bike Doviculus swung at was knocked sideways, practically out from under the rider, who went skidding across the ground on it's face, tumbling for quite a ways before finally coming to a limp stop, growling softly in pain. Nearly the same thing happened with the chopper Scorpion hooked, the difference this time being that the running motorcycle was now coming at Scorpion at top speed.

As Grey waited to back up Doviculus, one of the beasts that had already fallen seemed to lurch haphazardly to it's feet, hissing in both pain and fear, and it started sprinting for his back with a howl of rage.

Fletus let out a curse as he tried to swerve to avoid the attacks coming from Mehir and his cronies...fortunately they were all aimed in relatively the same direction so he was able to, but only barely. The effort though, made his car skid wildly sideways, slamming into several of the gravestones.

"All right, you nasty little bastard, I've 'ad 'bout enough of you!" Fletus slammed the car into reverse, then went rushing towards Mehir.

The creatures Fluttershy was attacking had scattered at the initial attack, but the ones that had avoided getting knocked away were doubling back now. Two of them were coming at her from behind, one from straight-on.

The rivet hit Lars full on...and the zombie's head practically burst as though it were a watermelon struck with a sledgehammer. There were some screams of horror from the crowd, and even from the stage...Lita shrieked, going to her knees, hands over her mouth, her face going chalk-white as she more or less collapsed, dropping her weapon to the side. Mangus was immediately down at her side, trying to hold her up, but he and Ophelia couldn't tear their horror-struck gazes away from the putrid sight either.

Rey watched as Lars's body crumbled to the ground, actually almost seeming to pout even as he apparently ignored the threats from Jack and Eddie...and the gore that splattered around as the bullet hit. "Aww. And I was going to make him do a little dance." Rey gestured with his hands as though he were conducting an orchestra, and from the ground, the now headless body actually rose back to it's feet, copying the motions, despite even more cries of distress from the crowd and Lita seemingly going into complete shock. "Oh look, now I always suspected Lars might be an airhead, but this just proves it..." He laughed delightedly as he made the body do a little sort of ballerina twirl. "But the man's definitely got rhythm! Wonder if I can make him do YMCA..."

Even when witnessing the atrocities Aku had committed against the people of past and future, Jack had rarely seen a sight more horrific than what he saw now. He had thought that Rey had resurrected Lars as another champion for his army, but now it seemed as though he had only done so for his own amusement and to strike fear and horror into the hearts of his enemies, which he had done. Jack himself, in the first moments, could not restrain his revulsion. But when he did, his hand tightened on his sword hilt until the knuckles turned white, and he charged to the attack. This could not go on any longer! He sprinted across the grassy field towards Rey, then leapt towards the flying demon, swifter than the fastest hawk on the wing, shouting a wordless battle cry. His sword flashed down.

Dr. Nefarious observed his defeated foe. The green reploid appeared to have the same goals he did, but attempted to accomplsh them in a very different way. He would have been a useful asset for Nefarious... if it weren't for two main problems. For one thing, Nefarious didn't know Vile's internal structure, so he wouldn't be able to make repairs without the potential for nasty side effects. Another problem was that he didn't have the materials to make repairs in the first place.

Vile was still too good a potential ally to kill, though, so he activated his thrusters and said, "Well, I can't repair you, but I'll certainly let you live!" He then flew towards Gunner's castle again, this time wary of the forcefield.
