May I suggest that players work out how they're planning to get to Las Vegas and make their introductions.

Got the "getting to Vegas"-bit covered. As for meeting the rest? We'll see, shenanigans probably.

Given that the Emporium would be one of the first Things Tim would visit in Vegas, i opted for the "chance encounter" option for now ;) if thats ok with you

Is it bad that when asked "what will you do" or some variation thereof, I imediately think of something starting with >?

Also, Squire, do you have any particular preternatural hangaround grounds planned, or should I improvise?

Since Las Vegas hosts a relatively small community of practitioners, there aren't many around.

The Obsidian Bar - The regular hangout for practitioners or vanilla mortals in the know. Located on Albert Avenue (outside of the main strip proper), the bar caters to most tastes and needs, served by the host of bartenders and waitresses. Although not protected under the Accords, unlike certain other preternatural pubs, the clientel know how to keep their heads down.

Ultra-Luxe - Located on the Stip, Ultra-Luxe is a casino and hotel owned by the White Court. Although not strictly welcome, the White Court has been known to allow more powerful wizards access to the VIP section, in the hope of preventing unneccessary damage to the building. Run by Natalia Raith, most practioners give the place a wide berth, but it is undoubtedly a place of significance and power.

I like how all the player-player encounters have turned out thus far. Closest to civil is Felix and Tim, and even they started out reaching for their respective weapons *

Well, Tim's Nation IS in an state of war ;) Makes him a bit jumpy in dark alleys with strangers.

That makes sense. Felix is just jumpy, plus the threshold for reaching for the coin is pretty low, since it's pretty obvious he doesn't carry a gun on him.

I've literally just finished Ghost Story. Exactly as good as I hoped for.

Only in places in the UK, unfortunately.

in UK it came out more than a week ago...aso for germany if you bookstore does take the british version (as does mine..) and there were early copies at comiccon too, afaik.
