If it has a stat that's listed up there, it's not going to work. I addressed all of the stats that aren't going to work towards you. But, the ones that will work are the Minigun with no Name, and a few of the other items. I'm really freaking tired, so I'll address them tomorrow.

Alright, for contributors, here are my ideas. These are really just examples of what I can do. I typed this up an hour or so ago, but didn't get a chance to submit it.

My Little Friend Level 10 Machine Gun
  • +15% Damage per shot
  • +10 HP
  • -30% Firing Rate
  • +10% Spread

The Louis Launcher Level 5 Grenade Launcher
  • +10 Health Per Hit
  • +7% Move Speed
  • -20% Projectile Speed
  • Only loads 3 Grenades

The Survivor Level 20 Sniper Rifle
  • Restores Health to Full on Kill
  • -30% Charge Rate

Carnivores Club Level 5 Bat
  • +30% Swing Speed
  • 5 second Critboost on Kill
  • -20% Damage Done
  • 2 Health drained per second while active

Can you control the conditions under which spies decloak/blink/drop disguise? Because I'm still thinking over a few sneaky spy variants.

  • Grave Robber
    • Invisibility watch.
    • Starts out with no cloak meter. Can't cloak. Once you stab someone, max cloak time goes up 3 seconds. Every person you kill, max cloak time goes up 3 seconds. Not silent kill effect itself, but leaves no corpses from backstabs.
  • Claustrophobia
    • Level 5 Knife
    • Rapidly disguise as opponent on backstab. No disguise kit. No silent kill. Every successful backstab increases your kill counter by one. Every kill increases how fast the sapper takes down a building by one second.

That "Claustrophobia" knife loses its usefulness for good spies. :/

I can't think of many ways to add drawbacks to the regular knife while still making it a viable tool so most knives will probably be like that.

Yeah, that sniper rifle is just "no spies? no soldiers? camp out in the open with a large line of sight and use your team to distract."

  • -65% total ammo reserves

  • Rockets are affected by drop off (if possible)
  • Take 40 damage if fired standing up
  • Take 80 damage if fired mid air

I still think Engy should get a fixed firing rate Trebuchet. Basically a wide area damaging, large damaging grenade launcher, but it shoots along a predictable path and at a set rate unless the Engy is there to re-angle it or change its firing speed. Maybe someone else could hit it to get it to fire.

Can't be sapped, but can't be upgraded as much and is extra-susceptible to fire or explosive damage. Maybe a friendly pyro could ignite the ammo for afterburn.

I'd like to give him something for medieval mode.

I was thinking, since Blackmoon is attempting to revive the Troper matches group, we should start organizing a little 6v6 tournament or something between teams of tropers, so (hopefully) we can attract more people in.

Then again, it seems that the words "match" and "tournament" seem to scare off most people, so I dunno.

We need an euphemism for 'tournament'. I got it!

'Friendly, Organized Team Fortress 2 Game Between Chums', or FOTF 2 GBC.

Also, I Stole borrowed an idea from the competitive scene. Community vs. Pros. Basically, a professional 6v6 team vs. a Highlander team. Now, this might seem imbalanced, due to it being 6v9. But, the 6v6 have won several times before, so I think this should be something we could look into.

Not so serious Highlander guys are happy, serious 6v6 guys are happy, they get to settle their differences by fraging each other. Everybody wins!

That actually sounds pretty cool. In exchange for being outnumbered 9-6, they have the flexibility to, for example, deploy multiple medics and chain ubers, or forgo an engie on offense in favor of an extra scout.

EDIT: Oh, and my weapon ideas:

==The Blunt Backstabber==
  • Spy pistol
  • -20% damage penalty
  • 20% slower firing speed
  • Attacking does not drop disguise
  • Disguise blinks on attack

(Not sure is this is feasible. Can you make disguise blink? I don't think it would be too overpowered, since it will usually be quite obvious who the spy is, but it's biggest advantage would be in harassing engie nests from a distance without being killed by the sentry.)

==The Bangarang==
  • Sniper melee
  • -50% damage penalty
  • Alt-fire: Launch a projectile that stuns on hit
  • Projectile returns to thrower automatically
  • Returning projectile can stun thrower
(on a hit, you get an easier headshot, but you lose your melee capability and you risk stunning yourself if you aren't careful)
