Lock?
No, it hasn't. Eight Point Eight is still displaying wrong.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickArg, forgot to check the wicks.
The page itself has been changed back, though.
Here's the thing. Eight Point Eight spelled out — files under E. But when Eight Point Eight displays as 8.8, the number, it files near the top of the list — numerals file above letters.
I would prefer it spelled out, but can live with it either way.

There is a fine line between recklessness and courage — Paul McCartneyNumbers go before letters. Thats how it works in every alphabetization system I have ever met. Including this very wiki (See auto indexes like The Contributors)

The problem being that we spell it out. {{8.8}} doesn't do anything. It just sits there. I mean, the whole point of the custom titler is to make it so that we can add in punctuation and non-standard letters. Making the name display as a completely different set of characters is just obtuse.

Fight smart, not fair.
The trope Eight Point Eight shouldn't have been custom-titled, it should have stayed "Eight Point Eight". It's confusing to decide where to put it in a trope list, as a trope that's just a number doesn't fit well into alphabeticalized lists.
And besides, as a number it looks too much like a work title, in my opinion. :P
(As well as I'm already posting this, I'd be in favour of a complete rename, but this topic's not about that.)
