No, we need another 30 Spy Kids films.
The Weinstein money issues have been settled (they sold some of their film library and The King's Speech was a huge hit, which led them to buy 25% of Starz) but Rodriguez has moved on. Spy Kids 4 was the last film in his deal with The Weinstein Company (he was in no hurry to work with them again due to him getting the blame for Grindhouse flopping and he won't be renewing his deal) and he's now working with Fox.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/The financing issues have been cleared up and the movie is reportedly starting production very soon.
Yep, its happening for real this time.
GOH! JII! RAH!So who will be distributing this one? At last report, MGM had the rights (supposedly getting them after The Weinstein Company broke their distribution agreement) but they are mostly involved with international and television rights now (not to mention their recent bankruptcy and sale).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/And Ava Lord has now been cast, for realsies this time, it seems. Not really a stretch to imagine.
edit: Also, the production for this started last November.

I challenge you to cast those roles better. I CHALLENGE YOU.
I was always interested in who they were going to choose for pre-surgery Dwight.

I'm a skeptical squirrel
I would like to know if anyone knows if Sin City 2 is still happening. The last thing I heard about it was that it was still in Development Hell. Due to some money problems with the company.
