Taskmaster: So, what do we know about the situation at hand or the place we're going to?

Twilight: I would like to know that too.

-Well it looks like the locals are ready to go-

Chuck: "Not very much, just that a bunch of raiders came into that city and captured the mayor who's been operating the trains."

~starts following the locals~

Taskmaster: That's it? Nothing about what kind of raiders these are, what their aims are, or what of firepower they're even carrying?

Local Militia Leader : They captured a whole city, we know for a fact they have several competent mages, they also have whatever was in the national guard depot down there, so military grade weaponry in addition to the scavenged stuff.

Chuck: "Well, you heard the Leader Lady."

Taskmaster: ...Oh. Magic. Even more fun. Don't suppose any of you have Aredian on speed dial? No? Well then.

-Picks up a shield, sword, and bow and arrow set, then hoists them onto his back-

Let's get going then, we're burning daylight and money.

Haken: Finally we know what they're packing. This will be fun now.

Militia Leader : You all ready to move out?

Chuck: "Yeah, lead the way."

Joshua: Sure, I guess.

(Joshua places the staff in its holster.)

Haken: been ready for a while.

Taskmaster: Start leading us to our doom already.

-The malitia leader just glances and nods to the engineers working on the trains, they all cease what there doing, and walk over to one of the locomotives every one has been ingnoring-

Militia Leader : Load up!

Chuck: ~nods and does so~

Haken: A train huh? This really is like the wild west.

-gets onboard-

-The militia all board the train, and begin propping there guns up where ever they can-

Militia Leader : Yes, we may not be able to control them without the mayor, but Engine 11 here sits on an already energized line, as soon as the engineers connect the tokamak to the power system, she will take off like a rocket.

There will be no slowing down, or diverting the line, were creating a run-away train.

Haken: I feel like I've heard of that somewhere before.

Laeader : You have?

Haken: I meant the run away train thing, the rest of what ever techno babble you just said flew right over my head.
