"Egao desu" indeed. Good to have the old Uzuki back. :)
I'm not sure she's all the way back yet. But certainly on the way to recovery.
I'm pretty sure they recorded a new version of "S(mile)ing" for this episode. More raw, and in character with how she's feeling. Glad the production committee went that route because regular version is a little too peppy.
Wait a minute, so is this series going to end without a Beach Episode?
.....I will be actually quite okay with it. Getting tired of one showing up in almost every single anime nowadays anyway.

So that's what G 4 U stands for.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Slightly unrelated, but I'm finding it amusing how vastly different Minami's perception is with the original CG mobage playerbase compared to the people who got into CG with the anime (and by extension, Starlight Stage, which uses the anime characterization).
Minami in the mobage is much more sexy, impish, and sultry — her latest card art has her in bondage gear, for crying out loud — and prone to going out in drinking binges with Kaede.
Kind of a far cry from the calm older-sister type we're shown in the anime.
Well Minami kind of evolved into that character after a while. Right now we're still seeing Minami early in her career so she probably just isn't there yet.
Also, the original playerbase is just lewd
I'd like to think that the portrayal in the mobage is how things would have turned out had Love Laika not happened. Remember, prior to that unit being introduced in the anime, the fanon around Minami was that she hung out with the 25+ club like Kaede, and gained their bad habits as a result.
It's not necessarily bad, it's just different to the changes introduced in the anime. That said, I do love the idea behind Love Laika and the anime-original units after all — I mean, Riina and Miku? Kirari and two of the youngest and shortest idols of the Cinderella Girls? Great stuff.
x3
You say that like those are mutually exclusive. There are ways to make them both work.
Relationship dynamics have to be changed then — the CG mobage was kind of like a harem manager, where affection levels played a part in character events and whatnot. This means that as the Producer, the player would have to shower a specific idol with attention in order to move through her "story" (on top of the usual level up, gatcha, and PVP).
And we really haven't seen that with Take-P, who we know deliberately keeps his distance so he won't get too personal with the idols under his management.

Take-P singing Doki Doki Rhythm to Rika...ten years later.
Old Shame, much?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.A bit late, but apparently the radio drama omake/noMake for episode 24 was Rin and Nao (or was it Karen?) dragging off Uzuki in the wake of the New Generations concert. Given how this is done live, it's hard to track down recordings (unless you're REALLY immersed in the fandom to tune in), but thankfully Ps who are also fans drew stuff about it.
Suffice to say, it involves a lot of snow, and some private relief about Uzuki finally being able to smile again.
EDIT EDIT: FOUND IT.

Hard to not binge on the NO MAK Es, but I think I found it hilarious that Mio and Karen would bond over calorific burgers and French fries in the one I liked above.
Come to think of it, she is a pretty darn popular idol.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Does anyone know what's the context for Oblivious to Love's article image◊, which is from the THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls anime?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
It's fanon — because the Producer was so dogged in trying to pursue Rin (in getting her to be an idol, because the Cinderella needed one more person to complete it at this point aside from Uzuki), Rin fell in love with him (especially after that question "Are you content with your life, right now?").
The Producer however is a professional through and through, so he treats all the Cinderella Project girls at arm's length, and indeed, unless you had your goggles on tight, the anime itself shows zero romantic undertones, unlike Miki's pursuit of HER producer in the first Idolmaster.
You can see how this is a great setup for Romantic Comedy shenanigans though, and indeed most of the non-ero doujin regarding Rin is her trying to break through to the producer, or being generally possessive BECAUSE of his dogged pursuit of her at the start of the series.
This is one of the things the Cinderella Girls fandom eagerly embraced, by the way, much like the idol units introduced in the anime.

TakeP with PS4 is a happy TakeP.
Yup, face of an 18 year old, all right. XD
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'm envious.
Lucky kid.
Recently I'm seeing fair number of fanarts with Kanade.
Specifically, her showing interest in the Producer, intentionally or not....and Rin being jealous about it.
Man, clingy jealous Rin is the best Rin.

Most of your posts have been only about shipping. Seriously.
Speaking of (idol and idol) shipping though. Frederique/Frederika and Shiki. Where did that come from?
Looks like we're in for another delay... but you could say that Bandai-Namco was prepared for this. I mean heck, they reserved enough show slots for a year, if you believe some news sites.

If they pull a BBB I'll be impressed...but I doubt A-1'll do much to the last ep besides bump up the animation.
You are goddamn right they are.
So...I guess only Producer can result in this kind of perspective, eh?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Taking power of smile a little too literally there, Producer. I loved Uzuki's "what" face here, by the way.
Egaodesu.
