I found it funny that the Cinderella Girls got moved into the basement. Literally.
Kaede episode though.
Glad Koi Kaze made it to the anime, animated or not.
Speaking of image songs...I did a cover of Miku's the other day. X3
I'm looking forward to when the prince comes with the glass slipper and they produce the other one
Actually, on some level, Mishiro's plan makes some sense — Japanese idol culture is incredibly insular, and unlike K-Pop the international appeal is virtually nil. However the WAY she was going about it is just set up to crash down around the company, ESPECIALLY with her double-whammy of "Profits, now now NOW" AND "Oh hey, lets try to be famous IN AMERICA". Yikes
I see some faint commentary on how out of control pandering anime has gotten too. Pushing J-pop into overseas popularity?? Really?? You know, this is the OPPOSITE of what Miyazaki and Anno have been talking about.
Ironically, the main series entries of Idolmaster have never been licensed in the US apart from legal streaming. Speaking of which, CG season 1 can now be viewed on Hulu if you're sick of how slowly Daisuki loads.
A rather....ill spirited editing in BD version.
Looking at all the reactions by the end of Part 1, I think episode 6 did an unrecoverable damage to Mio's image. Oh sure, there was some attempt to salvage her image, but I don't think any of them was enough to set the balance back.
I mean, among New Generation members, all of whom who dropped at least a bit, Mio's dropped the hardest during the 4th Popularity Poll, from 5th to 18th.
Man, she better do something pretty darn awesome in Part 2. Like, I'm talking about Chihaya in episode 22 (or was it 23?) awesome.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.... do you REALLY think Mio is hated by even the staff after that arc to affect even the placement of her screentime?

Absolutely not. The Mio fans just think she's getting the shaft.
She IS getting the shaft, considering her position as one of the main characters, the title character of Passion Type AND the leader of New Generations.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.By the way, anyone else paying attention to the fanon that's coalescing on the Deremas adaptation? Rin being attracted to the Producer is a given, but there's also the identities of the three Cinderellas that got away — Kaede and the elder Jougasaki are two of the most common candidates.
My theory is that the third one is Mayu, as ironic as it may sound.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Anyone who thinks Mio is getting the shaft is paranoid. We were provided an example of ONE SCREENSHOT changed for the blu-ray. I'll believe it when we get proof that they really are trying to do that.
Wait a minute.
Kaede-san (I'm always compelled to add -san to her name) is Cool Type, Mika is Passion, and if they really are two of the runaway Cinderellas, the third one must be a Cute type.
Again, my guess is that it's Mayu. I don't know, I can't think of any non CP Cute type character who interacted with P.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, process of elimination.
Most likely if the theory is true the cute idol is one of the Cinderella Masters before the 7th batch of CDs. Which leaves us with:
- Anzu
- Kanako
- Miku
- Uzuki
- Miho
- Nana
- Sachiko
- Mayu
- Chieri
- Sae
Obviously we can take out those in Cinderella Project, which leaves us with these:
- Miho
- Nana
- Sachiko
- Mayu
- Sae
I'd rule out Mayu since she had something for her own producer via episode 13. Sae & Sachiko are in a unit with Yuki, so while still possible I'd say unlikely.
And out of the last two left, wouldn't the one who stepped out of the game to be a maid waitress pretending to be 17 make sense?

Given the focus in the next episode, kind of figured it would be Nana, yeah.
Oh man, totally forgot about Nana.XD
I keep hearing that according to the little bits of evidences, she's actually much, much older than 17.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Per the wiki Nana is 20 at minimum because she can vote and you have to be 20 to vote in Japan.
There's a line at the end which had a translation that was totally off. ._.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Well well now, I do believe that Mishiro has unknowingly started a subtle rebellion by allowing the Cinderella Project to proceed. She thinks that it's "win-win" (if it doesn't succeed it proves her point, if it does, eh), but at this point it's pretty clear she's alienating her own employees which... is not good. And when goaded to explain herself, she more or less fell back on, "Because I'm the boss, that's why."
And take note, the Cinderella Project, in this episode, more or less absorbed eight new support members in this episode.
