General thread, but if spoilers become an issue it can be split into a thread specifically for the manga.

The first episode of the anime adaptation just aired, and I think I died from insulin shock right now. Both the OP and ED are adorable, as well as the post ED clip. The animation is at the least above average; hopefully this will keep up for the rest of the season.

It's been a few months since I last read the early parts of the series so I think I'll enjoy watching it again.

Seems pretty good so far.

I'm disappointed that the whole series won't be in the style of the first minute and a half, but the animation was still good (though you can't really trust a first episode). In any case, I liked it, it's probably the only new thing I'll watch this season.

Also, manga spoilers will be punished with death.

I hate that people are avoiding this because of the manga's ending. I know a recent ANN interview had the possibility of adapting the time skip up in the air, but it's only 11 eps long!

As it stands, this show's a keeper. Soooo cuuuuuute~

So cute...

Though from what I heard I thought the family would speak about Rin worse than they did. Still, it was great seeing Daikichi assuming the responsibility.

Oh also.

Too cute. What counters sugar? I need to know if I am to survive this.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

...after watching the first episode, it looks really good. Looks like it'll be one of those cute and heartwarming type of series.

What's the manga's ending? They die or something really depressing? Hide it in spoilers or PM if it's something massive.

Should I make a new thread just to ask this question? sad

I heard nothing but good about this series(no time to read it though)...that some people would hate the ending so much to avoid the anime adaptation makes me REALLY REALLY curious...

Thanks for the PM.

Talk about an over-the-top overreaction [lol]

I guess these types of endings are starting to pick-up in popularity, since it happened in Lotte No Omocha's anime adaptation as well. If that series can make the audience go "d'aaawww", this series should have no problem at all considering how much more popular it is.

Regarding this anime....the children sound like actual children rather than an adult trying to sound like a child. Whoever pulled that off has talents.

This show is listed on Crunchyroll so maybe it's worth checking out.

Probably because they are children, well Rin's VA is anyway tongue

Adorable...not so much for the people who easily gets squicked...but for those who didn't intentionally spoil themselves, adorable...

Especially since Real Life children are often loud and bratty no matter how hard you try to discipline them.......sort of like Reina!

[[spoiler: I'm surprised that this series has not had any controversy in the west yet. It shouldn't raise any controversies...but knowing North America, I know it will...yet nothing has started up around here yet.]]

edit: fine fine spoilered even if there's none...

How many volumes out there? By the way, I was rather annoyed at how fast the Time Skip happened. Maybe the author was tired?
