Could be. I'm curious how they got hold of it, though. And I find it interesting that William is the one narrating; it certainly makes sense but it's also kind of ominous for Desmond himself. I know it's his last game but I don't want it to end with him dying.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I mean the expression on his face is funny. Like, laugh out loud kind of funny. He looks like a monkey with a coconut.
the color todayYeah, the puffed out lips and weird black eyes make Desmond look kinda funny. Otherwise a good intro.
Yeah I thought he looked like a monkey too at the end there but the rest of the trailer looked pretty sweet. I really liked that bit where Desmond has his hood on next to Altair and Ezio.
Interesting that they are actually trying to stop this natural disaster thing. I really wonder how they can do that without a deus ex machina. It's not exactly something you sneak up on and stab in the throat.
I think the implication is that the Pieces of Eden are the key to a power that can save or restore the world, and that Desmond has so far come the closest to getting that power.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987It's not going to be a Deus Ex Machina, they set up how to stop the apocalypse in Revelations.
It's not over. Not yet. They set up that it can be stopped. We still have no idea how, only that Desmond has the key to unlocking it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The assassin's insignia is the key to start up the save-the-world machine.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI'm less concerned with how it's turned on than I am with what it does. I expect a spectacular climactic cutscene, dammit!
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The machine causes a time-paradox which throws Desmond back in time, leading into the DLC.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryThe Assassin's creed 3 page has an error on it. The part about Boston and New York being 1/3rd the size of their real life counterparts. Should I correct and add a part about an Inversion of the trope?
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryThat's strange. When I added that section I actually mentioned that they were bigger than their real-world counterparts and that it was an inversion. I wonder why someone would change it?
"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."Whoops. I just changed it, I suppose you were about to revert it. xD
Someone named Lightice changed it.

Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen Fry"That second thing makes me happy in the pants."
Classy, fighteer.
And I finally got what I went back for, so this post isn't purely to poke fun at the mods, which I admit is rather like poking a bearcub. :V
This is where I got the info that Boston is going to be 3x larger than its real-life counterpart. First posted some days previous, from OXM.
EDIT: Ah, ****ons.

Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI had a brief argument with Lightice over that "1/3 scale" versus "3/1 scale" thing, but I didn't feel like pressing the issue. Please do fix it if needed.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Brilliant! I am really looking forward to the new Assassins Creed game! Looks like it might be the best in the series.
I got Assassin's Creed II last Christmas, and...only now really started playing it. At first I was consistently yelling at the game because AMG THIS PLATFORMING MAKES NO SENSE AND THIS ASSHOLE HAS SUCH A HUGE LEAD AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THE ENTIRE GAME TAKING PLACE IN THIS BLAND MAZE-LIKE CITY AND EVERYTHING'S SO FLOLLOPY AND AAAAAAARGH
then I learned how to like, actually play the damn thing and it's really fun yo. A bit irksome in areas, chasing people can get a bit annoying and I kinda wish it didn't take so long to restart fairly short missions, and the first city is still confusing as fuck and a big-ass maze of similar buildings, but at least I know there's more than that, and San Gimigano, where I'm at now, is a much better handled city that's a satisfying bite of all the cool stuff in the game. And the small size of it is accentuated by all of the Tuscany you can roam around in. So yeah, neat~
Why do you fight? Why do you exist?Where did you get to now? Are you still in Florence? The second game is actually the best one in the series (followed by the first one, Brotherhood, and finally Revelations)
Au contraire, I personally prefer them in this order: 2, Revelations, Brotherhood, 1 (not that I dislike the original.) See, see? preferences.

the color todayThe reason that I don't like the Revelations that much is because;
1. there were not many assassinations (weird for a game about an Assassin), 2. it just contained an older Ezio, not the original one from the previous games, 3. there was no final boss fight; just a cutscene.
Its a big shame because the graphics should technically make it the best in the series.
...Ezio in Brotherhood was older than in II, also. It's the same Ezio, he's just older.
That's something that's cool about the Ezio trilogy. How often do you actually get to go through your player character's entire life?
You know, maybe you are right but still you have totally different characters; not the ones that you were used to like Ezio's mother and sister and others.
From the way it cuts off, it seems like it's the intro for the game.
