Out of those 3, Kingdom Hearts 2 definitely.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Depends. What kind of gamer are you?
If you get bored with one game, can you come back to it after another, or do you lose interest completely and fail to come back at all after moving on?
If you can come back after getting bored, start with FF XII. Its actually a good game with lots of fun bits, but there's some less fun bits that tend to repel most players. What I did was, whenever I got bored, I would move on to something else and come back later.
If you can do that, go FF XII, KH II (this being the game you go to when XII gets boring) and end it with X-2...
Or skip X-2 and play Dark Cloud instead...
I need to play Dark Cloud again...
Or skip Dark Cloud and go for the even better sequel, Dark Cloud 2 / Dark Chronicle.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireFFXII is pretty decent but the other two are lousy games. If you're the sort of person who would enjoy all of them then just pick one. None of them are good enough to end anything with a bang.

I'd argue that Kingdom Hearts II is a really good game...
FFXII is a really good game bogged down by... stuff...
FFX-2 is a game...
FFX-2 is a very mechanically sound game, with what I feel is the best battle system in the Final Fantasy series. But trust me when I say the story and characters a very hit and miss.
I'd say go with KH 2 and FFXII first and then see if you can deal with X-2

You should be playing Shadow Hearts.
In all seriousness though, X-2 requires a faq by your side if you don't want to miss a lot.
FFXII and Kingdom Hearts 2 are both good games. I'd say KH 2 is more fun overall, but FFXII has Fran. Decisions, decisions.
Kingdom Hearts II is a pretty mindless game, and it's really not much of an exaggeration to say you can beat it just by mashing X and Triangle all game, but that said its battle system is still pretty fun and was the best in the series until Birth by Sleep came out.
Final Fantasy XII requires a lot more thought and an open mind about how to approach both the gameplay systems and Final Fantasy in general. It also, from my experience, necessitates a lot of Level Grinding, but I always wondered if that was something that could be fixed with proper Gambit setups.
Final Fantasy X-2, as someone said, has an awesome battle system, but you really have to learn to be shameless and devil-may-care in order to not feel like a Dirty Old Man. It also really kind of requires a guide in order to make any sort of sense in both story and gameplay, too.
So I dunno what you're really looking for, but I hope that helps.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.Screw the sequels (even though I love them, for different reasons) and play XII for a satisfying experience without any need to understand continuity and stuff. At least, that's what I think.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency@Wild Knight: Grinding was only really necessary in XII when dealing with marks. A good gambit set-up and up-to-date weaponry are about all you need to beat the main story. That said, the main story is only about half the game, so grinding is going to happen.
@topic: With XII, I recommend looking up a guide, if just to figure out which chests not to open. The Infinity Plus One Lance can only be acquired by either not opening certain containers or from a chest with a less than 0.01% chance to appear...

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireEh... I'd recommend not looking at a guide for whichever of the games you decide to pick up. You can usually finish the game without all the ultimate stuff and that's all that matters for the first playthrough.
Uhm. None of the above? I'm not a fan of any of those 3, although I do have to say play KH 2 on proud mode if you want some decent gameplay at least.

Against all tyrants.Hmm... I found that I liked X2s gameplay, but God... The story is atrocious, which is why is why I stopped playing it.
MY defintition of bang is... You know, something to remember the ps2 gaming as a good thing. I have had lots of fun with this console, and I wanna keep it that way. I wanna save the best for last.
I guess I should start with x2, huh?
But between KH 2 and FF 12... I know about the combat system in KH 2 because I tried playing it, but told myself I would not play it 'till I completed Chain of Memories (Which I did). But I am unfamiliar with FF 12's combat.
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.If you really want to end it with a bang, play Dark Chronicle. Great game. Seriously. If I could only keep one of my PS 2 titles, it would be Dark Chronicle.
Good game. Best JRPG.
Ooh, or Atelier Iris. I've only played Iris 1, but it rocked.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire*Just realized his recent purchase of a PS 2 means he can finally buy every Final Fantasy game short of XIII now*
MWAHAHA!
I have a message from another time...So I'll download them on my PSP for the price of lunch.
I have a message from another time...Jesus, that's an expensive lunch. Either it's really good or you're being ripped off.
Against all tyrants.Well, they're widely regarded as classics. That's enough for at least a 50% inflation on the RRP and I believe it can go to more than 100%.
Well, I can't say what you should play. But it doesn't seem that FFX-2 would be a good idea.
Personally, I'd pick FFXII. KH2 is nice and all, but sadly it turned to be not what I expected, due to it's popularity, but rather what I would have expected, if I only the premise. A fun little game, but hardly anything that I would play through more than once.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.All three Square Enix games I see.
If you want mainstream mindless button masher then KH2.
If you want at least a little challenge then FFXII. Not likely you.
If you like watching girls get change. Well, you know which one.

Help?.. please...> If you like watching girls get change.
Imagery in my head: a hobo girl asking for some spare change.
...
I would play that!

I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.Wait, maybe I forgot the price of those on the PSN. Whatever, it's not huge.
I have a message from another time...
Ok look, I am bored and demotivated, looking for a job and all, and I have these 3 PS 2 games left to play. See, since I borrowed this PS 2 for over a year, playing all the classics, I wanna end it with a bang.
So here are the 3 games:
Final Fantasy X-2
Kingdom Hearts 2
Final Fantasy 12
I have made some progress on X2, but I hate the characters and story so far, so I don't know if I should keep playing them.
