it looks like the point of the image was that you're shooting your self, while the trope is more about Hollywood Gun Jamming

This is a trope about guns that don't work or are otherwise poorly designed. Its not just about jamming, its about misfiring, exploding and otherwise being unrealistically dangerous, the picture is perfect.
That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastes

Oh, so 'tis...hmmm...well, I'm still not 100% on it, but it's better than the current. I'd say crop the third panel and put the caption in quotation marks if it's the actual dialogue from the scene.

What kind of crop did you have in mind? I mostly had that because the right angle of the thrust makes me giggle. I could also use a black background if you prefer it over the white one.
