I thought the third one was supposed to be the last feature-length entry in the franchise.
Saw it on Huffington Post. Oh hell naw, I absolutely call this bull shit.
There's no way they'd do a Toy Story 4. No way.
I reject this reality, and substitute my own.
In fact, to me, this thread is not about 4. It's about 3.
The only reason to be for this so called new movie in the series is that Pixar is ploting to Take Over the World with the greatest Tear Jerker in history...or something
Eh, 3 was one of Pixar's best films, but maybe, just maybe, they'll manage to top themselves.
After Cars 2's disastrous reception, though, I'm not really inclined to give Pixar the benefit of the doubt. Seriously, what the fuck, Pixar?

At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...If they do this, I will have lost all faith in PIXAR.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. From another recent Tom Hanks interview "Whatever is going on at Pixar headquarters is a mystery to me. I'll wait until they blow white smoke out of the chimney or whatever it is that says there's another Toy Story coming down the pipe."
Not believing this until we have actual word from Pixar. Could be just another Toy Story Toons wave.
Now that I know what exactly he said, it could've just been his guess.
It's not happening. If it is, I'm finding a way to travel between realities and moving to an alternate one where it's not happening. TS 3 had the perfect ending. You don't continue a story after you've ended it perfectly. There should be a law or something.
I accept animated shorts, like the one released just last weekend.
If this gets made, Pixar is dead to me.
I mean, Toy Story 3 wrapped up the saga quite well, making another film is simply unnecessary. While shorts like Hawaiian Vacation are understandable, making another is just pointless. And considering another unnecessary Pixar sequel was critically thrashed, they should take that as an omen.
Pixar would prove themselves to false artists if they release this. Its hard enough already having respect for Dreamworks when even though they're still releasing good films, they keep making unnecessary cash-ins. Shrek has had to be the weakest animated sequel I've ever seen.

He probably got the short films confused with the film series. I'll cut him some slack though since he's been very busy lately (he has Larry Crowne, which he starred, produced and directed, coming up, another movie in post-production and a possible American Idiot adaptation that he'll direct).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I refuse to believe that this is true.
Therefore, it is not.
He was just trying to get the press off his back. He probably meant the shorts. Plus Pixar said they don't have anymore sequels planned in the near future besides Monsters University.
We can retitle this 'Fanon Discontinuity: The Thread'.
Think he meant the Hawaiian Vacation and related shorts. Boy, everyone sure is getting butthurt over nothing.
It may be for nothing now, but I never looked at the link and took the news at face value.
@ninjaclown Or a Video Game.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DOf course.
This is serious business, my friend. Serious. Business.
I recall people saying the exact same things about 3 before it came out.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Either
1. It was a joke. Get over it.
or
2. He was mistaking the short films for another movie.
There is no fourth Toy Story. You can all go back to your regularly scheduled lives.
signature lineIf that's the case, let's ring a mod to lock the thread. I don't see it becoming anything other than complaining any time soon.

*spit take*
What?!
I know it says that it may not happen, but seriously Pixar, you already ended this series perfectly!
I can live with more shorts like the one in front of Cars 2, in fact, I'd love to see some more. But another sequel? Don't do this to me man!
