Super Robot Wars

Okay, so I noticed there wasn't really a general thread for discussion on Super Robot Wars (or Taisen, if you prefer), so here it is... oddly enough, The Inspector has it's own thread. Anyway, if I missed it somehow, feel free to lock it, mod.

To start this off though, any thoughts on the new Super Robot Wars OG game that will most likely never see the light of day outside Japan?

From what I hear, Atlus actually wants to get the new OG game, but we need to hope Namco Bandai gives the green light (they probably wont)

That said, WHERE ARE THE SUPERS!? I want Garmraid and Forte Gigas!!

What I'm hoping for is for Baran Doban to make an appearance; I want to hear what his incredible theme would sound like with modern console music capabilities.

I think we are still in Alpha 2, with some alpha 3 poking in (like Rai Oh)

Hm... did any licensed characters play a big role in the original character's development in the Alpha series? If so, we should probably expect some expies of them to appear.

Well the Titans played a large roll in Alpha 2, so people are expecting an OG equivalent.

So in slightly late Super Robot Wars news, 2nd OG has been postponed, possibly for a long time. Thoughts on that?

No..... PS 2 no longer has any games being made for it. If anything, it will more likely this will be the last PSP Super Robot Wars game, as a Playstation Vita and PS 3 game are aready being made.

When he fights Aim, Asakim produces the Capricornius Sphere, which negates Aim's. Asakim says he got the sphere from a girl who was very curious.

Ok, now. Quoting a post from GF:

"You know that Xine's mech is called Eliphas, right? Eliphas Levi was an occult researcher who drew the modern image of what we know as "Baphomet". Baphomet is represented in the Zodiac by Capricornius. So probably Xine is the girl Asakim is talking about.

Seeing as Eliphas has horns in SRW Z, and how Xine followed Asakim around for no reason, it's implied that she is the Capricornius sphere holder.

Also, Aim's name, as said on the other thread, is Hamal Argo. Both are arabic words. Hamal = head of the ram Argo = star

Hamal Argo = star of the head of the ram = Aries

Aim's mech is called Arietis because the star is Alpha Arietis.

Therefore, there is a very good chance Asakim offed his hot yet not evil lackey off screen.

Apparently, Saisei-hen Didn't finish Gurren Lagann's Story. They are probably saving it for Z3, maybe with more powerful next Gen hardware, to try and fit Tengen toppa Gurren Lagann in it.
