Seperate universe I think.

Here's hoping Tomoyo actually gets a girlfriend.

I hope they don't Grimdark it up like all their other works... and I just want to see if Meilin and the Hope Card are manga canon.

[up][up]Here's hoping that they come up with an overall storyline that isn't so complicated that even CLAMP doesn't understand what is going on *cough*Tsubasa*cough*.

Y'know, after reading that newest chapter of Prisma, I couldn't help but notice who was using the Lancer card... If I'm right, that was Kayneth Archibald, or at least a facsimile of him. The idea of him using it is humorous at best.

Here's some interesting facts that might be of relevance to the Morgan le Fae/JL arc.

The origin of the tactics used by the classic medieval knight stem from a group of nomadic horsemen known as the Sarmatians (Not to be confused with the Samaritans. Upon seeing a man lying wounded in the road after being attacked by bandits, a Good Samaritan would render aid to the victim, while a Good Sarmatian would ride the bandits down and spear them on a lance). In the second century AD, a large tribe of Sarmatians were sent to Britain to help General Lucius Artorius Castus of the sixth legion guard Hadrian's wall, and their descendants remained there and naturalized, interbreeding with the locals. The early fifth century knights of King Arthur would have been the descendants of Britonized Sarmatians or Britons who had been trained in the art of cavalry warfare by Britonized Sarmatians. Key connections between the Sarmatians and the Arthurian legends include a major Sarmatian religious icon being a sword impaled on a stone, and the name Pendragon meaning "one who fights under the banner of the dragon", which was the war banner of the Sarmatian tribe that settled in England.

One interesting thing about the Sarmatians was that unmarried women would ride to war with the men (Married women were expected to retire from warfare except in all-hands emergencies). This is believed by some to be the origin of the legends of the Greek Amazons, and some Greek philosophers claimed that the Sarmatians were the descendants of Amazons who had interbred with the Scythians (A closely related tribe from the same region) after a group of captive Amazons overpowered the crew of the ship that was taking them into slavery, could not figure out how to control the boat, and were shipwrecked in Scythian lands (The greater authority that Sarmatian women held in their culture, including the right to hunt and fight in war was something that their Amazon ancestresses insisted on before they agreed to marry their Scythian suitors).

Are Diana and Saber (Or at least some of Saber's knights) related?

Wow, that's all pretty interesting, though I'm not sure how much I can use. Where's it from? Do you have a reference recommendation?

No, Saber and Diana aren't related, though I'm considering a gag where Diana's mom Hippolyta brings up how much Saber looks like this Roman emperor she saw once...

I blame this on playing too much Fate/Grand Order.

Random Historia of 2814!

"What the heck is all this garbage doing here?-!" Eternal Sailor Moon asked in confusion as she stared at the piles of random junk littering what had once, a long, long time ago, had been one of the Courtyard's of her previous life's mother's palace. She turned and frowned, noticing a rock that was curiously prominent in an otherwise flat area that had, in another life, been part of the parking lot for the palace's Vimana motorpool.

She peered closely at the rock, and sighed. More graffiti. This was all the fault of the Americans, leaving junk all over her moon. "Who the heck is Astolfo?"

-Excerpt from the Wikipedia Article for the film Victoria Frankenstein

Victoria Frankenstein is a 20XX British science fiction fantasy horror romance film based on contemporary adaptations of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein. It is directed by Joss Whedon and written by Neil Gaiman. Starring Jennifer Lawrence as the title character and Emma Watson as Igorina, the film was released by Wayne Entertainment on November 25, 20XX. Told from Igorina's perspective, it shows the troubled young assistant's dark origins and her redemptive friendship and eventual romance with the young medical student, Victoria Frankenstein.

In London, ambitious medical student Victoria Frankenstein (Jennifer Lawrence) attends a circus performance, where she helps save an injured aerialist by aiding a nameless hunchback (Emma Watson) enslaved by the circus' ringleader, and who harbors feelings for the girl. Impressed by her vast knowledge of human anatomy, acquired from stolen books, Victoria rescues her, drains the cyst on her back that causes her physical abnormality and develops a harness to improve his posture, and then names her "Igorina" after a recently deceased roommate. The two then become partners in Victoria's ongoing experiments to create life through artificial means.

Victoria is expelled from college for her unorthodox methods and dabbling in 'magic', and later approached by the noted mathematician Professor James Moriarty (Andrew Scott), who wants her to create an artificial humanoid creature. Victoria and Igorina outline a being known as "Eve" (Dakota Fanning), dabbling in more 'magic' to plug holes in their research, with funds provided by Professor Moriarty. Shortly afterwards, Inspectora Gregson (Arthur Darvill) and Lestrade (Rupert Graves) and their men raid Victoria's laboratory, hellbent on destroying her inventions, which they barely escape with the help of Moriarty's men and taken to an undisclosed family estate in Scotland, where Moriarty provides them with the necessary funds, mechanical and elctric devices to build Eve. Igorina is mistrustful of Moriarty and leaves after having a falling out with Victoria. Moriarty later kidnaps and binds her, revealing his plans to kill Victoria once Eve is complete and weaponize her creation. Igorina is then thrown into the River Thames to drown, but manages to escape.

Once recovered, Igorina returns to Moriarty's estate in order to rescue Victoria, and finds Victoria on the verge of using lightning to animate Eve. She ignores Igorina's pleas not to and activates the machine. Due to a power surge the machinery overloads, causing a fire. After the ensuing chaos Lestrade and Gregson unexpectedly arrives, blaming and threatening Victoria for her creation, upon which both realise the experiment was a success and Eve came to life. Victoria and Igorina share a brief moment with Eve but is interrupted when Gregson opens fire on Eve, who eventually kills Gregson and drives away Lestrade. The three retreat into the Scottish countryside, becoming a family.

The film received generally positive reviews, grossing $94.2 million against a budget of $40 million.

"And that's how I was born," Eve finished explaining.

"Huh," Kuro said, nodding thoughtfully. "Just like in the book, I see. And you going to the North Pole?"

The being known commonly as Frankenstein's Daughter shifed in embarassment, ruffling her wedding dress-like clothes. "Well, I was 5 and it was coming on Christmas, and I wanted to make sure Santa Claus got me the correct presents... it seemed like a good idea at the time."

Monster movie released in late November? Shouldn't it have been released in late September to catch the Halloween crowd?

Mage! I just spotted a plot hole! Back in your crossover with URAE a fortuneteller told Setsuna that she would "lay" with her beloved before her hated rival could "lay" with hers. However, in a recent chapter set before that cross it was all but stated that Yutto (that is his name, right?) has already been ... intimate with the girls after him.

Exactly, Setsuna misinterpreted. She thought it meant Himari, but it was actually talking about Tsukuyomi! After all, the exact phrased used is 'Despised Nemesis' and Himari is more of a Sitcom Archnemesis.

And now, some random ideas as I reshuffle the Morgaine le Fay episode in my head to make a bit more sense since copying it from the TV show isn't an option anymore.

Presenting, the fandomly diverse CW-esque Pilot Episodes of 2814!

To be honest, I've always been more interested by the kind of demons who plan ruling the world by corrupting humans, making contracts, perverting mankind away from good, and beating Heaven's share of souls, than the demons who basically only plan 'raze everything, ????, then profit'.

So do I, but I think of it as a social hierarchy thing. The ones who do that are the Middle-management to CEO level demons. The ones invading are the ones who range from the equivalent of highschool dropouts and delinquents to yakuza gangs. If you get high enough, the two parts start to merge, but before then there's a distinct Brain Versus Brawn demarcation.

Heh, the demons you're talking about sound like the ones from Highschool Dx D..... Should really see what the Gremory household is up to in 2814. [lol]

Also, I gotta be contarian here and posit that Miyu's Shirou is probably one the cooler versions. I mean, he's given up his vague ideal of being a hero so that he can focus on family. Then said family gets kidnapped so he goes balls to the wall in order to get her back by taking part in a cool twist on the Grail War. It could be its own series. It SHOULD be its own series. It's certainly better than the parody that already exists in Prillya. Plus, he's probably got a personality more similar to Archer at this point.

That said, it does distract from the main plot of 3rei. I hope Miyu doesn't stay behind after this arc. The only solace I have on that front is that her 2814 counterpart will probably stick around. tongue

Lastly: Grand Order. It's awesome, blew up the Fate franchise to greater heights than I could've dreamed, but it also did something incredibly irritating. Third Fang is now forever entitled to being 'right.' Ugh.

God, they'd better not end it with Miyu staying in her universe. She and Shirou should go back to the Illyaverse.

I think Mirou is a really interesting variant on your standard Shirou. He's a Shirou who has decided 'Miyu's death is the only way to save the world? Then I'll throw away the world.' Without hesitation. And he acknowledges that it's an evil act and that EMIYA would probably be quite annoyed at him using his powers for that end. That's pretty interesting to me.
