So, there is going to be no surprise villain. This will probably be a rare case of No Antagonist in a Disney flick. I also guess that Yess will be genuinely good.
Buuuuuut maybe he's lying! Maybe there's yet another twist and they're trying so hard to hide that.
Yeah, I'm calling Lying Creator on this.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I'm hoping the villain is a hacker from the outside the internet
New theme music also a boxIt would be a twist if the antagonistic force are just antagonistic, but they are not true villains. However, I am going to keep them at their word that for now there are no antagonists.
I call BS here too. Name 3 Disney flicks that didn't have bad guys of some sort.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Maybe Wreck it Ralph 2 could be similar to Moana in this regard. In which instead of having a main villain, the closest things to antagonists in the movie would function more as obstacles rather than full on baddies.
"If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."I do believe that as well will happen. It averts the twist villain cliche that this decade has used.

I can't name three but I name one:Dumbo

New theme music also a box@ Mr AHR from several pages back:
"There's also added debate on whether pocahontas should be part of the princess line up at all (since she's based on a real person, and the movie was based on a version of the story that she actively despised)."
How could Pocahontas have "actively despised it" given that she'd been dead for two centuries before anyone thought to link her romantically to John Smith (in John Davis's Travels in the United States of America from 1803).
Finding Dory, Dumbo (as was mentioned), and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Also Inside Out.

This song needs more love.Finding Dory had that squid as an minor antagonist as I recall
New theme music also a boxTrue but it feels weird to consider that an antagonist in the same way that it feels weird to consider a giant rock blocking a character's path an antagonist. It isn't really a character, just an obstacle.
Also I just thought of one more: Bolt.
This song needs more love.Dumbo, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Fox and the Hound, Fantasia 2000, Brother Bear, Chicken Little, Bolt, Winnie the Pooh. Those are all the ones without a real bad guy in any form.
And as an added bonus, here's Pixar's: Cars, Monster's University, Inside Out, Finding Dory, Cars 3.

Fox and the Hound had Amos Slade. Chicken Little had invading aliens. Both Fantasias were anthology movies, not single plots, and both of them had segments which had villains. Brother Bear had Denahi, who is Disney's first real foray into having an Anti-Villain.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The princesses are the villains.
I've been saying this all along!
Elsa gets be the bad guy,her dragon is Mulan
New theme music also a boxFinally, Elsa gets to be the villain!
Would of loved to see Elsa actually being the villain. The old concepts on what Frozen was going to be like is way more interesting.
I'm actually really ok with this. With my feeling that often the protagonists could be removed or merged with a side character to make the narratives more interesting, I think sometimes villians could be removed to make the story more interesting. Instead of forcing Hans to be a villain, I think Frozen would have done better with him as an anti-hero desperate to try and solve the blizzard problem and save the country, even if it meant killing Elsa in the process. That way, while its not a HAPPY thing, Hans still looks better and is far more understandable in the ultimate climax and we can see anguish over having to do a terrible thing for the right reasons in hope that it will solve things and fear that doing nothing will lead to doom.
God is officially a Disney character![1]
Thank you
