We knew this would be the premise since the original came out. What gives? This isn't anything new.

To be fair on the title, any film title at this point is going to be a Working Title - there's still time for them to name it Ralph Wrecks the Internet.

Actually, arcade-based cabinet games DO have a lot to do with mobile/online games. They're remade for the internet all the time.

I'm getting Kid Radd vibes from that title.

The plot: Vannelope's game Sugar Rush breaks, and Ralph and Vannelope have to travel into the internet to find a replacement part. It's the only way to save the game. As Ralph and Vannelope explore this massive universe, they're going to meet several new characters, including one who appears to be an expert of this massive universe. The character is Yesss and she is dressed in blue, extravagantly. She is an algorithm for the site Buzz Aholic. Because she's always up on the latest trend, she has the ability to shift he hair and outfits.

I'm guessing Yesss will be the villain somehow

Interesting. I hope we actually know the villain ahead of time because surprise villains are getting old.

I get the feeling that this slumber party is going to be like the support group meeting from the first movie. Massively advertised to show off the crossover aspect but hardly anyone from it shows up in the rest of the movie.

It's certainly interesting though.

Universal has since gained a ton of rights from Nintendo (they're planning a Nintendo theme park in their Universal Studios parks). So I hope Disney can still include Mario and Luigi in this movie.

I've been wanting to go to that for a long time now.

I think Yessss will be the villain too. Some 'new vs old' concept and how old can become cool too because its retro maybe?

I remember when we got the first character descriptions for the first movie, everybody figured Felix was going to be the villain.

Well, I am forever glad that they averted making Felix the villain.

Yeah, that would have been way too obvious. I liked Felix's role as a well-meaning hero who just didn't realize how much being a villain kinda sucks. He's a good guy through and through; this just isn't his story.

I await to hear Idina Menzel (though Elsa wasn't really a princess for long, while Anna's a princess through the entire thing).

Technically, Elsa was a princess for maybe 10 mins of the film. The rest of it, she's been made queen by then.

They'd better deliver on Mario and Luigi having a meaty role, though it looks as if they're abandoning the classic video game theme entirely.

Have you guys heard those rumors (I'm calling them rumors, even though I'm pretty sure they've been substantiated) that Ralph and Vanellope will meet a bunch of Disney properties at OhMyDisney.com, including Star Wars and Marvel characters?

The same rumor that says they meet the Disney Princesses and they don't acknowledge her as a princess until she proves herself and that they treat 3CP0 badly? Yep. Saw those rumors and I hope they aren't true.
