Wreck-It Ralph:

Time ta' change da TVTropes page! :D

...yeah it does sound a lot like Megamind, but then, there has been a SLEW of Hero Antagonist animated films these days (and Megamind never really had to take a training course in order to turn good)! Doesn't that mean everyone loves a Bad Guy instead of the Good Guy?

Um, it sounds a bit too similar to Mega Mind.

Sarah Silverman's in it? It's probably going to suck.
[up]Dunno. Before I became familiar with her usual persona on-screen, I thought her voice would suit the animation world very well.

I thought that it would be not bad.....

Until I found out it was CGI
It's about video games. What did you expect?

What's wrong with a movie about video games going for the look of video games? Also, I'm hoping they lampoon Real Is Brown as much as possible in the FPS world.

What are the chances of Nintendo related stuff being shouted out in this movie?

Well, Disney and Nintendo do have a history going back to even before they started making video games

[up]What you mean? Like Nintendo being influenced by Disney?

It will be CGI because video games, regardless if 8-bit games were side-scrollers with very obvious similarities to hand-drawings, are routed in digital information, and this movies says that the film will also show examples of three dimensional platform games! Besides, Disney is now producing 3D movies as well as hand-drawn ones.

[up][up] Actually, Nintendo put out a couple of Game & Watch titles starring Mickey and Donald. It's even in Brawl's Chronicle.

[up]Even further back then that. In the 1960s, Disney and Nintendo made a deal for publishing Disney themed Hanafuda cards which sold incredibly well in Japan.

This movie reminds me of Kid Radd in a good way. Also, Rich Moore is the director and he directed some of the best episodes of The Simpsons and Futurama.

The guy also directed a couple episodes of The Critic. That's definitely good news to me.

Not Quite Batman
What are the three styles? Arcade, 8- or 16-bit, and modern hi-def? 'Cuz that's what makes sense to me.

[up]I honestly have no idea.

A realistic FPS (I'm hoping mocking Real Is Brown as much as possible), an 8-Bit platformer and a bright and colorful palette ala Mario Kart

Design-wise here's my speculation

Wreck-It Ralph and Fix-It Felix: probably 80's or even 90's era arcade game

Sergeant Calhoun: Arcade shooter or Halo/Metroid

Vanellope von Schweetz: Mario Kart

I believe that Ralph will hook up with either Calhoun or Schweetz (with possibly Felix hooking up with the one left over)
Eh, Mario Cart style may look too similiar to the 8-bit style the main character and his world has already. Maybe they'll make her into a 90's arcade racing game.

Knouge forever!!
Ha Ha Ha No. I will not be watching this. It's too Mega Mind like.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D
