I'd change around a few things, though. The audience and stage effects were cool, but I think I'd rather leave them out, and the roulette thing was just an unpredictable annoyance to me.
Superguard could stay or leave. Honestly, I'm fine with Paper Mario 1's simpler battle mechanics, though I wouldn't mind seeing a few new things.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Get rid of the Roulette and TTYD's Battle system is perfect...I don't find PM 1's simpler system all that interesting.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Eh, I'm sure it would've been better than what we got.
And other developers threw them out because Miyamato said there should be something new.

He didn't force them to throw away everything they already had, he was against what he saw as TTYD "on the 3DS"...saying they should make something fresh and new doesn't mean they should've get rid of almost all RPG elements.
Outside of "this" and limiting them to only the Main Mario cast, everything else he said was just plain suggestion that they decided to follow.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I didn't say he did, but this did give them the wrong ideal, there's no denying that.
Also got all 240 Stars and deposit 9, 999 star bits at the toad bank! All that's left now is The Ultimate Test and The Perfect Run.

Beware of the Perfect Run...its annoying enough to make even someone like me Rage Quit(even to a small degree)
Well they had a reason to follow his "Story Advice"...I mean Alpha Dream is a very clear case of being the Intelligence that has left Intelligence Systems

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.It can't be as bad as getting the hang of Fluzzard...
What do you by that? In regards to Alpha Dream.

They had also saw advice/suggestions from Miyamoto, they considered the things he said and they realized that none of it was necessary to follow.
I actually found Fluzzard pretty simple...his control isn't too bad, but it is noticeable when getting 2 specific Green Stars.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Super Mario World for the Wii U VC is available as a 200 coin reward on Club Nintendo if you want to get it. I just did. :3
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Super Mario All-Stars + World or No Cigar, I don't need it anyway.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.So I just completed The Ultimate Test as Luigi and lost six lives. That bloody hammer section...
I'm doing the The Perfect Run as Mario... I'm so doom...
Though on that note which brother is better to do The Perfect Run on?

I'd say Luigi, if only because his higher jumping makes long jumping through the cloud section and the 2nd to last part easier. The Hammer section in the Perfect Run was the bane of my skills, and still is...could not complete it without "Cheats"...
Tip...in the 2nd to last part, if you just long jump right towards the 1st pull star...you can basically skip that small jumping section

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I love playing as Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy 2 simply because of the segments you can bypass with his better jumping. I remember one segment of one of the later worlds where the game wanted me to do this long segment on these giant gears that were running in the opposite directions of where I needed to go and the gears had these laser fences an enemies and I think even Bullet Bills.
I took one look at it, went "Nope," and proceeded to do a Side Flip > Spin Jump > Wall Jump > Spin Jump combo to completely bypass it and grab the star. Needless to say, I felt awesome.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And I receive a Game Over!!!
Ugh...

This is only the beginning...eventually the only part you'll have trouble with is the Hammer Bros. section.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I'm now on it right now, i'm afraid to move.
And died... from falling off the ledge.

I think I've beaten the Perfect Run three times. Once as Mario, once as Luigi just to see if I could, and once on a second file.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Congrats Afto! Definitely not an easy feat. I had a lot of trouble with The Perfect Run too, enough that I stopped trying to do it for a while. But eventually, I came back to it, vowing that I was going to get that last star one way or another. And once I did it, it truly did feel great.
Now, has anyone ever beaten the Impossible Pack in NSMB 2? Without White Raccoon Mario? :/
And that bit about the series not having a canon seems to be a recent invention, but I've explained that before.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)The funny thing is, when I completed The Perfect Run, I never died once on the hammer bros section, despite it being arguably the toughest section. The flip panels section gave me the most trouble.
The second level is what Mario Is Missing should have been!
Honestly, I don't think I'd mind if the gameplay of the next Paper Mario was exactly like TTYD but with a new plot, new locations, and new partner. Don't fix what isn't broken.
