The Chain Chomp was the only one. People thought there was gonna be a Toad partner from the more up to date previews, but those just turned out to be escorts.
I actually love the paper artstyle, and kind of hope they keep that for any future Paper Mario games. Of course after Super and Sticker Star, I'm not exactly looking forward to the next Paper Mario if you catch my drift. Honestly, the M&L series would have a much better track record than the Paper Mario series if Dream Team turned out to be good, which it's looking to be. Whereas Sticker Star's previews gave me an odd sense of foreboding.
The linear area designs (granted, the first game wasn't a whole lot better in that respect) and less stylized character designs should've tipped a lot of people off, really...
Miyamoto's backed off since Sticker Star was released, though, so the next PM will probably be a return to form. (Here's hopin', at least.)
Huh, I found out that the box enemies in 64 and Galaxy that moved around, and you had to move to a certain spot to avoid getting crushed aren't called TOY boxes, they're TOX boxes. I'm not sure how I misread that all this time.
Also Bob-ombs are pronounced BUH-BOMB, and not BOB-AWMB. My mind is blown.
I dunno, Super was made without Miyamoto's input, so I wouldn't say that.
Huh? No. What did he do?
I found out when replaying Super Mario 64 DS. One of the mission names was Tox Box switch star. At which I was like, wait, isn't that supposed to be Toy Box? -looks on Mario wiki. Mind is motherfucking blown.- Doesn't help that they show up in the TOY TIME galaxy, adding to the confusion!
One of these days, I'd really like to see them make Paper Luigi: The Marvelous Compass. It would be too late to be part of the Year of Luigi craze if that ever sees the light of day, but would be cool nonetheless.
Game-play: Both have pretty bad game-play, but I'd say S.S. if only because its game-play while still bad, had more intersting levels(not much more, but still).
Also(and I'll be damned if I'm not the 1st to say this here)I don't think its music is that good, its not bad but I don't really find it memorable or all that interesting.
If you want to be a friend and battle me, just go add my 3DS FC: 2337-4610-6692
I finished Dark Moon last night. I will eat Miyamoto's sandwich if they don't make a Luigi's Mansion 3.
Also, I personally liked Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star, the former more than the latter, but still.
