When making Writer's Block thread do you ever prefer to show instead of tell?

Even if you don't have any drawing skills, a crude sketch is better than a wall of text right?

Unless it's exceptionally well made, anything would be better than a wall of text.

If that's the case, then are you saying the only reason people write books is lack of artistic talent and that, say, comic books are an inherently superior genre?

In answer to the OP's question, no, not really. There are a lot of things that can't be shown clearly in a picture, and a "crude sketch" is probably not going to convey nearly the information of a paragraph of text. That doesn't mean a Wall of Text is any better, but you're basically asking would you rather have a rotten apple or a piece of moldy bread? Neither one, thank you.

My pictures are certainly not worth a thousand words. I don't draw a Stick-Figure Comic solely as a stylistic choice, you know.
