Any play style gets boring after a while. I'm a total twitch action whore, but even I tire of it and will take a break every once in a while to play Dragon Quest or Chocobos Dungeon. Ether of these games will get boring in time and I'll end up switching back again. There's nothing wrong with this.

I like turn-based combat, as long as the battles look decent or have an interesting mechanic. However I do NOT like FF's Active time battle system thing, and it comes off as mre of a hindrance. My favorite battle system would probably be the Grandia's series, which felt like what FF was trying to achieve somewhat but better execute and laid out(well the first two Grandia games at least).
