And the problem with number one is how badly Sovereign fucked up the Alliance ships attacking it (and the Citadel Fleet before that). And it wasn't even actively fighting back.
Not to mention we see in the ME 3 gameplay (and can hear from one of the interviews) how the Reapers are tearing through the Galaxy pretty much unopposed.

Against all tyrants.Hmm... methinks that the solution will have something to do with the reason the reapers want to wipe out the galaxy in the first place.
A fistful of me.Well, 1st game does demonstrate that if you hit the Reapers hard enough they will break...the problem is that how can you hit them hard enough before they hit you and kill you all...
My first guess is to get both Geth and Quarian to join up...the combined fleet of those 2 races alone would be at least 100,000 ships, that's good...get other races, especially Rachni and Krogan to join up too...still not good enough? Arm all of those >100k ships with Thaix (or whatever the name is) cannon, that helps a bit more...not enough? If they can reproduce Haestrom anomaly, then accelerate the pace of it by millionfold to induce supernova, and doing it on every systems that the reapers are on...use this as final option though...
Also, they're going to need a crapload of superheavy battleship laser/particle beam cannons to help with penerating Reaper kinetic barriers...
The total final option in case of total failure...do a (or several) large-scale Ilos base...with enough power and supplies to last at least 4 centuries and enough people to help sustain the races without succumbing to the gene pool problem...and prepare the races for the next cycle...50000 years of buildup can and will help...

Give me cute or give me...something?All of the mass slaughter of humans tears open a Negative Space Wedgie, causing the Warp to spill out into real space, screwing everything up and turning it into WH 2 K.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."The Migrant fleet is only composed of 25,000 ships and unless they get a homeworld back they won't be able to deploy them all. And most of them are falling apart and they aren't all combat focused ships.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.50,000 ships, actually. And the Fleet is in action, or at least part of it; the Fleet in orbit around the Planet we've seen in several videos where Shepard is trying to destroy a Reaper base (that actually has a Reaper in it) is the Quarian fleet.
Against all tyrants.50,000? I stand corrected. By the Quarian Navy itself is stated to be small in the Codex IIRC.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Perhaps they'll be using Love Darts to make Reapers the Brotectors of the Living.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Yeah, the actual armed forces of the Quarians is comparatively low in number. Most of their ships aren't geared for combat.
But could be useful if accelerated to ramming speed.

Against all tyrants.Medicus must be using Legion's account.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.I've often wondered if we were seperated at birth.
Against all tyrants.Re: Cerberus, yes, that is the downside. A friend of mine suggests that 'Renegade' ending will be you *failing* to stop the Reapers, despite having the tech to beat them, for precisely that reason.
Re: the Battle of Citadel Station, remember, that wasn't "Sovereign vs Everybody." That was "Sovereign and an entire Geth Fleet, *and* an invasion force taking down Citadel Control from the inside".
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comAnd then at the end it was Sovereign vs the entire Arcturus Fleet. He was barely fighting back because he didn't consider them a threat, and he was still tearing the shit out of them.
Against all tyrants. And yes, the quarian naval power is always way overstated. Trying to use it in battle would be trying to use trailers in a tank battle. Trailers from the 50s, against cutting edge tech tanks. It wouldn't matter just how many trailers you have avaible.
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficI honestly have no idea what to say...Anything I think up sounds remarkably cheap.
Hive Mind? Anticlimactic.
Attack Its Weak Point? They have none.
Attack! Attack! Attack!? They'd slaughter us.
O_O I do honestly think we're doomed...
BUT THAT WON'T STOP US FROM TRYING!
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.After Earth gets destroyed (Seriously, there's no way the planet will survive the game), Shepard decides that using asteroids as projectiles will work, so they use mass effect fields to catapult planets and rocks at the reapers.
Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him.But considering how expensive each of those upgrades were, most likely requiring thousands of kilograms of various elements that required us to deplete the mineral stores of entire planets...Not very practical, especially with any ship bigger than a frigate.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I know! In the past, the original Reaper race was good. But an infectious enemy came and started a Zombie Apocalypse. To combat this, they built the Mass Relays, which they could use to fire radiation accross the galaxy and destroy the plague. To survive, they became one mighty robotic being, which could not be harmed by the radiation. One of them staued behind and lit the Mass Relays, killing the infection.
And that's how they'll kill the Reapers.

You FOOLS. Have the last two games taught you nothing?!
Shepard can solve ANY problem with his (her) penis (vagina)!
Well Harbinger does have a suspicious obsession with Shepard's body...
#IceBearForPresidentThe reason he want to indoctrinate everyone is so he can "assume direct control" of them.
The very thought of that makes me shutter...

Well, what about that weapon that apprantly killed that Reaper that Legion is in? Or would that count as a Forgotten Superweapon?

Since it destroyed the planet it was on when it fired, I don't think that's an option...Plus that race only got one shot off.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
Problem with #2 is that Cerberus is probably working with the Reapers due to either indoctrination or stupidity.
