I'm gonna use this time to finish all the other games I have that I've wanted to finish.
Then, when Zelda comes, I'll have all the time in the world to play it.
One Strip! One Strip!Btw, this means that Zelda Wii U will be out when the series celebrates 30 years.
Personally, I'm thinking Nintendo has something waiting in the wings for either next month's worldwide Direct or E3.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Ah yeah, the Direct. Given the nature of the announcement I suspect the delay was going to be announced in a Direct, but they chickened out and decided to put it on its own. Or they had a Direct prepared but delayed it for some reason. It feels like it should've come by now, especially since you'd think they would want to show off Mewtwo before the deadline.
Edit: I guess Twilight Princess or Mario Sunshine HD could also be holiday titles, but that would be lame.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I wonder if we're getting another handheld Zelda in the interim. I know we just got MM 3D but that's a remake. If the main team makes another game in the ALBW style they might be able to get another one out before Zelda U.
With Zelda U delayed and Star Fox U equally unlikely, I get the feeling that there may be another Remaster in the works to compensate for the Wii U's lacking holiday lineup.
My guess is that Super Mario Galaxy HD will be announced at E3. It's extremely odd that Nintendo would release Galaxy 2 on the eshop but make absolutely no mention of the first game and with it being Super Mario's 30th Anniversary, I could definitely see it happening.

Has everyone forgotten Mario Maker?
A Mario game with content entirely generated by fans will satisfy for a while (and maybe even more if they're considering DLC for additions).
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Well, since it's fan created a good 90% of the stages will be bad.
Then it's up to us Tropers to share the good levels
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.@16980 Sunshine was awesome!

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Sunshine was meh from what I've seen of people reacting to it.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I like Sunshine. I wouldn't consider it quite as good as 64, but it's a worthy successor.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Still waiting for that Sunshine HD U release, now with extra Luigi. It's the only 3D Mario I haven't played, and despite its lesser reputation it doesn't sound bad for the most part. Plus it would make for a quick, cheap filler title at some point.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. My only real gripe with Sunshine is that the Blue Coins are tedious to collect and suffer from "Did I get that one already? Which one am I missing?!"-syndrome. I deliberately avoid picking up any Blue Coins until I've reached a point when I can get them all in one go, then use a guide to make sure I don't miss any.
Ideally, an HD remake would include some kind of Blue Coin Radar or something.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Sunshine poses some difficulty being remade because of the way it used the Gamecube's analog shoulder buttons, which Nintendo hasn't used since.
Right, I forgot about that...
Perhaps have R be "R partially held down" and RZ be "R held all the way down"?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That would be hell for muscle memory, but I (and many others) would probably get used to it eventually.
Have they really never used the context-or-whatever sensitive use of those buttons since then?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? They could use the damn Game Cube controller adapter for an HD remake of Sunshine.
Speaking of, my mom was wondering why I wanted a Game Cube controller adapter for Smash even though I'm fine with the Wii U pad. The answer is that it's another part of the game I want to try. Plus, the GC controller was my only control scheme for Brawl until my first Wii stopped reading discs.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!None of their systems since the Gamecube have had analog shoulder buttons, so no, they definitely have not.
They would never make an optional controller the only way to play a game. Especially a remake of a major Mario game.
Or just make them use the Gamepad's screen to let you know how much FLUDD power you want to use.
Were there ever any situations where you didn't want to use full blast anyway? It's been a while since I played the game but from what I remember I usually just shot water at the maximum power.
Same here I always used full power because I had a PS 2 before a GCN so I always held the L and R buttons down the whole way because that was what I was used to doing with the PS 2.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSunshine doesn't actually use the analog triggers to modulate the force of the water blast. Someone on another forum I got to analyzed it.
[some argue that] the ability to modulate the force of the water gun's stream using the gamecube's analog shoulder buttons is vital to gameplay in some way. what is meant by modulating force is that pressing the shoulder button a little bit creates stream 1, that pressing it halfway creates stream 2, and that pressing it all the way creates stream 3. i replied that there is no actual instance in which it is vital. after testing i discovered that there's an even more severe problem with this argument, which is that modulation of the force of the water gun isn't possible at all
in fact, what happens when you press the shoulder button to any degree is that the gun fires with enough force to generate stream 3 for a set period of time. after that time is up, the force of the stream rapidly declines, causing it to become stream 1. stream 1 continues to be generated for a second or two, and then the gun stops firing entirely. the important point is that the degree to which the shoulder button is depressed only controls the length of the time period during which stream 3 is generated. the force of the stream is constant and not under the player's control. in other words, there is no way for the player to sustain firing streams 2 or 1. therefore, using the gamecube's shoulder buttons to aim precisely or conserve water is also impossible
since everyone got along without these features on the gamecube, they will be equally unnecessary on the 3ds and there is no barrier to porting the game

Um.
It wasn't stream strength. Who told him that?
Holding it down partially had you fire while walking, and holding it down all the way made you stand still so you could use the control stick to aim.

I have a message from another time...
Lets get real here: All yall were against the idea of Nintendo making mobile games until the exact second they announced they were doing it. Forgive me for being concerned about Nintendo putting their IP on devices that even their best offerings are OK at best with crappy controls.
