I've looked it up on The Other Wiki and with the exception of Mario Kart and Brawl, none of the big First Party Releases had Classic Controller support.
There was also the Super Mario All-Stars Anniversary, and considering this is the 30th Anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. maybe that'll get rereleased as well.
Splatoon will be at Apex. Supposedly Nintendo will have one more surprise there as well. Could be interesting.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Cranky Kong will be revealed as a playable Inkling.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I would probably buy Brawl if it was released on the eShop so I can be able to replay SSE without having to worry about my disc not reading.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Nintendo made money yet again. Their core business isn't stable, and they don't have Smash Bros/Mario Kart to drive sales this year, and Pokemon may skip the year, but for now they aren't bleeding.
5.7 million Amiibos have been sold. I'm pretty sure that's a good number.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Zelda always sells less then Mario, and 3D World didn't exactly light the charts on fire. It's a system seller sure (and Xenoblade hopefully will be one too), but it probably won't push nearly as many units as Smash/Kart.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Xenoblade would really be a system seller over Zelda?! O.o
Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756Both are system sellers theoretically. Zelda is for sure. Xenoblade hits all the marks in theory, but it doesn't have the history for it to be proven yet. Splatoon and Star Fox are also darkhorses, though one is completely new while the other doesn't have too many people confident in it given its history. But I'd still say Xenoblade and Splatoon have a better shot of "saving" the Wii U then Zelda, even though Zelda will sell better. Those two are newish and have (a little) potential to explode, while Zelda is too much of a known quantity to get a surge of newcomers.
I am worried that Xenoblade will come out in October in the west. If Zelda is a lock for November (which it probably is), that could put two giant open world games back to back against each other. Could hurt the sales of both. But I suppose that's Nintendo's problem, not ours.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.People aren't confident in Star Fox given it's history? What? Are you confusing Star Fox with Metroid? Last time I checked, a lot of people have been wanting a new Star Fox game for a long time.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Last I heard Star Fox Command wasn't well liked. And to be honest, the entire series coasts by on 64 alone. Oh sure, there are some people that like the SNES version or Assault, but 64 is the only one that is still well regarded among the general populace. Metroid has most of the 2D games and all 3 Primes that are beloved.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. It still kind of remains to be seen how well it'll sell though. Internet hype doesn't always translate to being financial lucrative.

Otherwise Bayonetta 2 would've sold more than Musou and Captain freaking Toad of all things.
Shocking news, Iwata says there are multiple unannounced titles in the works.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Bayo 2 did good for what it was, at least. Multiple GOTY nominations is nothing to shrug off, even if the winners ended up being the typical fantasy stuff we get every year.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughIt actually won GOTY but I can't remember from who.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Isn't, like, any Nintendo franchise that isn't Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, or Kirby an Ensemble Darkhorse franchise?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Bayo won several GOTY awards. Off the top of my head I remember Edge Magazine giving it the nod. Neogaf voted for Bayo, along with an overall Wii U sweep. Smash U technically got it from Metacritic for being the highest overall rated new title of the year.
Animal Crossing is as big or bigger than Zelda. Metroid isn't that big. Wii__ is arguable, seeing how those collapsed after dominating on the Wii.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Star Fox, F-Zero, and the Mother games are probably the closest thing you have to Nintendo have Cult Classic franchises.
Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda are the big three with Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Kirby being a tier below sales wise.

For the record, here's how I tier the franchises. Criteria involves an incredibly complex formula none of you would understand involving sales, popularity, critical reception, gamer cred, mass awareness, recentness, visibility in Smash Bros, and my own buttocks.
- S: Mario, Pokemon
- A: Zelda, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros., Donkey Kong
- B: Kirby, Metroid, Yoshi, Wario, Wii, Fire Emblem
- C: Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Xenoblade, Nintendogs, Tomodachi, Touch Generations, Punch Out, Pikmin
- D: F-Zero, Golden Sun, Style Savvy, Advance Wars, Custom Robo, Game & Watch, Pushmo, Dillon's Rolling Western
- E: Earthbound, Ice Climber, Excitebike, Starfy, Sin & Punishment, Duck Hunt, Panel de Pon
- F: Gyromite, Urban Champion, For the Frog the Bell Tolls, The Mysterious Murasame Castle, Sheriff, Devil World
I think that covers almost everything of note. If you have any questions regarding anything's placement I'll be happy to give an explanation.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I wonder when it was decided that "S" was better than "A".
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Welp, Iwata got the flu and possibly Influenza. The Investor meeting is being delayed because of it. Not good for Iwata's health just after he recovered from the surgery.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.@Zelenal: Since the majority of Japanese media (including some forms of martial arts and certain Japanese schools from what I've read) use that as a rank that apparently means "Superlative". I suppose that it's been used so long by now that it's become ingrained somewhat.
@Iwata's health: Damn, I really hope he can recover from this.

What confirmed digital release Wii games use the classic controller anyway? I don't think SMG 2 or Metroid Prime Trilogy do.
