The just-created Travellers Tales is displaying the title correctly on its page, but suffers the backslash bug elsewhere.

The Eternal Fool
Always in Class One displays properly on the page itself, but has an unwieldly extra space added after the 1 everywhere else.

Oddly enough, the extra space replaces the previously existing one if there was one before, and simply adds one in all other cases (such as when followed up by a colon on entries).

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 is currently displaying properly on the page, but not as a wikiword. Curiously, Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 displays perfectly.

It's super effective.
That's not really curious. I think it has something to do with prefixes that are already camel cased like VideoGame and WebVideo. Don't know the specifics.

When you make the custom-title request, write it "Videogame/HyperdimensionNeptuniaMk2", instead of "VideoGame/HyperdimensionNeptuniaMk2".

I am not sure if it's already been mentioned, but there's What Do You Mean It's Not Heinous?.

The Literature and Self Demonstrating pages, Finnegans Wake and Finnegans Wake both seem to have the slash-apostrophe problem.
"Existential Despair" is an oxymoron.
At least on the Saturday Night Live page, Why We're Bummed Communism Fell has that same weird slash problem.
In uffish thought
I wonder what causes it; it happens/has been squashed in most areas of YKTTW, the Cut List, custom titles, redirects...

Is it just me, or has this thread gone for at least a couple weeks without a single mod popping in to at least assure us that "Yeah, we noticed that too, and are working on it"?

Is it possible to pull a custom title completely? Someone recently added custom titles to Finnegans Wake and Finnegans Wake and Finnegans Wake, adding an apostrophe, but Paul A just pointed out the official name of the book does not have an apostrophe, so we should clear all of those out.

[down]Isn't this where I do that? :)

[down][down]got it, thanks

They can be broken, but you'll have to petition a moderator.

You submit a new request and we approve it.
[up] I submitted a new request at the same time as I de-apostrophed the article text. It doesn't seem to have had any effect.

Hm? We can't fix the slash bug in any way I know. We need Eddie for that.
[up] Not even by taking out the apostrophe entirely? Because the problem we're trying to get fixed with Finnegans Wake isn't the display of the apostrophe, it's that it should never have had an apostrophe in it to begin with.

Ah, somebody probably rejected your request because they thought it was a mistake. Try again. I'll approve it.

Inglorious Boshtets, which I recently did a custom title for, shows the title correctly on its page, but has the weird slash thing going on with its links, such as the one I've provided.

I don't know if it helps, but I've made the interesting observation that custom titles are displayed correctly on the preview screen, but have the slash problem once the edit is saved.

Eddie's been working on the slash bug, but as of this post it's not completely fixed yet...check around and see if/where you see them.
I think the slash bug is fixed. Looked good on a sample 50. Let me know if you still see some hanging around.

It isn't gone from the site, but it's gone from custom titles as far as I can see. Thanks!
Where does it occur on the site?
