Faceless Eye seems like it's a bit confused about what it's a trope for. Some of the things in there are about giant floating eye monsters; others are about singular eyes when used as an insignia. It also seems to have some overlap with Oculothorax — the difference, as I understand it, is that Oculothorax is about monsters that are mostly eye but still have a body, while people seem to shove things that are purely a floating eye into Faceless Eye. But as noted, it's not clear — Faceless Eye seems to be getting confused between multiple tropes.
Perhaps (if it's going to be separate from Oculothorax) floating eyes should be a separate trope, simply Floating Eye or somesuch? Or, alternatively, the difference between Oculothorax and Faceless Eye should be rearranged so all eye-based creatures go under Oculothorax, and Faceless Eye is just used for insignias and the like?
