Director of Judge Rotenberg center forced to quit:

1 Acebrock, Thu, 2nd Jun '11 1:29:33 AM from So-Cal Relationship Status: Showing feelings of an almost human nature

Admittedly, it's a week old, but still interesting, and disturbing.

For those unfamiliar with the Judge Rotenberg Center it's a facility where they "treat" severely autistic children with extreme measures, including attempting to change their behavior with electrodes.

The fun stuff is in the article, and I don't think I'm alone in saying that he should have gotten far worse than he did. Your thoughts on the center and the punishment Mr. Israel got?

I have the feeling it'll be very hard to find an unbiased news source on this one.

More on-topic, I find it interesting that he was forced to quit for destroying video of an incident. Seems a bit counterproductive unless he was pretty certain he'd get in trouble for whatever was on the tapes.

^That's true enough. It's definately one of those issues with no middle ground to speak of.

Anyway, for those wanting to rea more about the Judge Rotenberg Center, here's the article on The Other Wiki
