Tea-Boiled or Iced?:

That is... weird. Really weird. But awesome. I need to ask my mom if her store has them so she can get me one.

[up] I've had fried ice cream before, which once I got over the oddness of it, was pretty tasty.

Oh My
I have Japanese style deep fried ice cream. That was an interesting thing and it tasted good, but it is not something I will likely get again.

...unless it was tempura green tea ice cream. That could very well be the most awesome thing EVER.

My avatar and her expression: It does? I see!

My mom says her store does indeed have some, and if their coolatta machine is working, she'll bring me home one. I shall try this For Science!

[up] Green tea ice cream sounds kind of awesome all on its own, actually. I've never heard of that before.

Oooh. Report to us the results!

As for green tea ice cream...Oh it's very yummy stuff. Flavored with matcha!

WHAT IS GOING ON?!
Asian stores are awesome.

I tend to go with "hot" tea and have a cupboard full of the stuff. Jasmine is the reigning champ at the moment.

I take back what I said before about hot and cold....

There is ONE instance where Cold>Hot...is Bubble Tea.

That drink already has you sucking on slippery balls, slurping thick fluids through a long thick tube* , you don't want the thick milky fluid that you let down your throat to be WARM as well do you?

Boba tea is awesome. I prefer Thai iced tea though.

...or Thai flavored boba.

Second. Thai tea and Thai bubble tea are simply delicious.

But you only want to drink them cold, unlike every other tea out there.

The local bubble tea places serve hot bubble tea, but I've never tried it.

That being said, THAI Tea is something I only truly enjoy cold. I have some at home, but I never can get it to just the right strength, I.E. so fucking strong it looks like I strait up squeezed an umpa-lumpa into a glass after I add the sweetened condensed milk.

I'm thinking I need to strait up throw that tea into a boiling pot of water for a while before moving it to the fridge.

Bubble tea is pure awesome hot.

Never tried it cold, and I don't want to.

The large variety of "Thai Iced Teas" are rather tasty.

My brother recently came from China, bearing a box of green tea flavored ice cream flavored oreo cookies. Tasty, and leaves an aftertaste that could best be described as refreshing.

Needs moar friendship.
Put me down for hot tea. Herbal, usually, with honey or sugar. Or what's really good is chamomile with instant lemonade powder.

-is shot for HERESY!-

So I have finally tried the frozen hot chocolate.

And it tastes, well, about like you'd expect: Like a chocolate iced milk slushie. Tasty, but not especially groundbreaking.

Ooh, chamomile. Really settles the stomach and calms the nerves. I prefer it to Sleepy Time when it comes to a pre-bed cuppa.
