Not just you. But since dr manhattan was originally based off of him, that's to be expected.

I know he ships Supes/Wondy and that a lot of people find it obnoxious, so I threw his name out. I have no idea if he's involved at all.
As for the reboot, it looks as though they're using Flashpoint to set it off, and as that series apparently involves wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff and Alternate Universes and stuff like that, I think it's probable that the resolution will involve someone, likely The Flash, having to Shoot the Dog on the entire universe and push the History Eraser Button.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I REALLY hope Jaimie comes back. The one Latino superhero who wasn't a walking stereotype, only to get the lamest death ever. "Hurr durr, poetic irony durr." Ted coming back would be even nicer, but I'll keep my expectations realistic.
On a different note, a LOT of these books look pretty awesome. I'd been planning on picking up Aquaman since it was announced a few months ago, but looks like I'll be adding Wondy, JLI, Hawkman, Firestorm, and JLA (now that it actually has a lineup of characters I care about) to my monthly selections.
...isn't he already back? The Scarab rebooted him.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."So is this reboot going to effect the 52 earths?
Place your past in a book burn the pages let them cook.Yep, Jaime was back a couple of issues later. The bad news is that he apparently broke up with Traci 13 off-panel (it's part of her memories from the main timeline in "World of Flashpoint" #1).
He's not on the new JLI roster, so Blue Beetle will either be doing Teen Titans duty again, or have his own series.
I'm also pretty sure that DC will try a Static series so they can keep the Milestone IP going.
And there will be at least one "C-list characters in a team to keep the trademarks active" book, I am certain.
So what would be some good changes that they could make?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoThey could fix things like all the heroes they killed arbitrarily and the constant moping it caused.
They could get a good writer on Aquaman from the get-go, hopefully proving to all the nay-sayers that he is, indeed, badass.
They could make more Flash comics.
They could reestablish certain characters that were mishandled the first time through.
Stuff like that.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireAquaman is being written by Johns and drawn by Ivan Reis, so it's guaranteed to be awesome.
Also, maybe now Wally West and Cassandra Cain will do something again.
If by "awesome" you mean "source of most of the problems with DC today", right on.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comGeoff Johns as a writer >>>>>>> Geoff Johns as an architect of an entire company. And Ivan Reis is a fantastic artist. Aquaman was easily the best part of Brightest Day, so yeah this'll be great.
Rawr!I think he is a very good writer, why are you so against him?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoGood changes they could make? Un-darkifying the Shazam-related characters would be a good start.
YES! Making the Captain Marvel characters less dark and edgy would be the bees knees.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireTo a limit.

From the looks of their recent solicits, this might actually work. A Mister Terrific ongoing would be awesome (just give him his jacket back, jeez) and the new JLI looks amazing. No Beetle though, which is a shame, but at least they have Vixen and August General in Iron (the Great Ten! Yes!). Maybe they could even use the reboot to bring back some of the dead characters, like Ted and Ryan Choi.
I still have yet to hear anything that makes the reboot sound like an improvement over what is currently happening.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I was glad to see Guy in the preview for JLI, so he'll still be around.
@Warrior 93: No word on it yet, I don't think.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."I hope the Blue Lantern Corps (and the others) survives the reboot.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe Red Lanterns have an ongoing coming up; that's almost a sure thing.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Alright then. Yay.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI MIGHT buy the new Aquaman book, but besides that I think I'm gonna have about twenty dollars freed up every Wednesday. I think I'll spend it on sushi.
I mean, Johns' Green Lantern? Morrison's Batman? Those stories have been building for years and just down-the-crapper now? And what about the younger DC series I've been enjoying? Secret Six? Superboy? Batgirl? Secret Six? Batman & Robin? Secret Six? No seriously, what the hell's gonna happen to Secret Six?!
I can deal with Simone being off Bo P, it's hardly her best work. But if DC screws up Secret Six, we might have to part ways.
G...Grant Morrison? As in Grant Writer of the Greatest Superman Story Ever Morrison?
I am a bit miffed that Damien Wayne will probably be retconned out of existence...
...
Oh well, no real harm done. Right, Batsy? 8D
I have to say... at first, I was sort of put off by the fourth DC reboot, but the books they're shown so far actually look pretty interesting. I've also heard that Grant Morrison is going to be writing Superman, so seeing as Allstar Superman was pretty good, I'm interested in that too.
I just hope that the majority of the line does what it has the potential to do; tell good&interesting stories, while being accessible to people who haven't read a lot of these characters' prior stuff, or being bogged down by decades of convoluted continuity. I understand that it's easier to get info about series and what-not these days, thanks to the wonders of trades and the internet, but most comics are monthly; that's not a short gap. When someone picks up an Ongoing, it's nice to be able to jump in; being told what you need to know, while not feeling that you have to go back and read previous issues despite that. Again though, this reboot could do that if handled right.
(By the way, is it just me, or does the new Caption Atom premise sound suspiciously like Dr.Manhattan from Watchmen?)
