Bullshit. Have you ever read Birds Of Prey? She was never victimized. She is more interesting because she was shown as a capable woman instead of just another auxiliary character to Batman. In every other incarnation as Batgirl, she was always the quirky, less experienced one, always the number three, while as Oracle, she was actually the one in charge. Even with a changed personality, the other Batgirls are much more interesting in this role, because their dynamic with the other bat characters are on a different level. Calling her victimized is flat out wrong wrong.

@RBX: I'm not sure it's so much that Supes is breaking up with Lois as it is that they will have been never together in the first place and instead he goes for Wondy.
I don't like it either, though.
Also, on the subject of Batgirl, I definitely agree with eX about Babs. Additionally, Stephanie Brown is my favourite Batgirl, and the current Batgirl series is incredibly fun. I always look forward to it. Just another reason the reboot disappoints and angers me.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Which Robin are we getting? Does anyone know?
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe bigger news is the 1st day digital distribution in September.
Jonah Falcon>Digital Distribution
>Doesn't care
I prefer to have a physical copy of the things I buy. I mean, I scan my comics into the computer anyway, but I like to have something I can hold in my hands. Call me old fashioned.
Same here, Zero.
Anyway, here's 10 of the titles being launched. The biggest news for me? A Batman is in JLA and JLI, meaning most likely that's two Batmen as opposed to one on two teams, meaning Dick is still Batman, meaning Batman Inc and legacy characters as a whole probably won't get swept under the rug after all!

Rawr!Where did it ever say that superman is now with wonder woman?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoNowhere, it's just one of the many many rumors popping up.
Rawr!...I'm mildly disappointed. You reboot the universe and don't bring back Ted Kord for a JLI revival? What's up with that?
I don't thin people should get so upset if they know it's just rumors.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoThat's basically what 60% of the internet is.
Rawr!Actually Aleclom Batman on the JLA and JLI are wearing the same costume, with minor artistic difference at least.
Still Finch's costume didn't last long, less than a year. :p
So what is known for sure about this reboot?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes Also@zsmg - Yeah, I noticed that, but Bruce was wearing Dick's costume when he showed up in Green Lantern recently, so costume mistakes aren't unusual.
@wave - Nothing specific, beyond the fact that JLA will be the first title released. Things are getting rebooted, but no one knows what the new status quo will be beyond what the solicitations that I just posted say.
What do we know about the reboot?
+ Its happening.
+ Cyborg is a Leaguer.
+ Jaime is the Blue Beetle still... probably.
...
That's all I know, pretty much.
So far, nothing worth getting all worked up about.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes Also"Savage Hawkman"..sounds a bit...Marvely.
"You can reply to this Message!"So The Flash has a new villain who's omnipresent? Sounds interesting.

Edit: My source is the page linked to in post #82.

Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. That's way too competent to be compared to Liefeld. Its not amazing, but its not THAT bad.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire"Barbara Gordon back in the saddle, no longer solely defined by what she can't do,"
Bullshit. She was never defined by what she can't do, neither was she victimized. Hell, there are comics where she beats the shit out of people. She grew to be competent and strong leader, mission control and hero in her own, uniqe way. While as Batgirl she was...incompetent.
I'm guessing there is no room for Power Girl any more...
Yeah, her tracts of land take ip too much space.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes Also
i'm trying not to think about it. Also i'm expecting it not to last. The Superman/Lois thing is one of the defining things about Superman. Maybe they are just setting it up to have a "marriage counselling"/"getting back together" arc. Or something. *searches for straws*
