Prologue and first three chapters for the next book, Dawn of the Clans: The First Battle.
Thoughts:
- I wasn't expecting Clear Sky's POV until the next book, but this is an interesting surprise. I'm worried though, because Tall Shadow is the covercat and she should get a POV to negate the sausage fest, but then it could end up as another mess like Night Whispers.
- Thunder and Acorn Fur? Even if they aren't blood siblings, this still really squicks me out.
- Well, I've been saying that Gray Wing would die in this one since The Sun Trail came out, but all this foreshadowing makes it certain. Didn't expect the hints that Turtle Tail would bite as well, though.
- Ah Wind Runner. Warmongering as always, I see. I wonder if she'll have a throwdown with Tall Shadow?
- It's not hard to see why Thunder leaves the moor a second time, really.
Now I'm really hyped for April! There's also a blurb out for The Blazing Star, which reveals that the Clans are founded in The First Battle (as was obvious) and the main plot is that there is a disease going around that the Clans have to deal with.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"We're apparently getting a massive announcement soon.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"Sorry about the bump. Need to vent about the ending of Path of Stars.
- That was horribly depressing
- No conflict resolution with the villain, WTF?
How is the new series? I'm planning on skipping Dawn of the Clans and I might have to skip The Last Hope too since it's impossible to get my hands on the original cover without it being overpriced compared to the other books.
Hectic, from what I hear.
Oh look, a ghost!'Surprised this is so down the page. Warriors has a pretty big fandom. Warriors is my least favorite Erin Hunter book but it's the only one I can find fans for.
I know it's bad to read out of chronological order, but there are so many dang books that it's hard not to. I doubt most fans just sit around buying each book one after the other. Everything's so vaguely tied together sometimes that it isn't really that troublesome.
Um hi this is probably dead but I am obsessed with Warrior Cats so yeah. Anyways, I CANT FREAKING WAIT FOR DARKEST NIGHT THE TITLE SOUNDS SO COOL! They better give Twigpaw and Violetpaw warrior names!
Fan Wing, Pegasister, warrior cat, a District 7, Ravenclaw, a demigodomg yes
So I have finished The Apprentice's Quest the other day which means
Still lookin for Thunder and Shadow lol

I know this goes against the point of the series, but I'd so read a book from a kittypet POV.

Fan Wing, Pegasister, warrior cat, a District 7, Ravenclaw, a demigodApparently there's a new arc called The Broken Code starting in April. Geeze, Warriors never ends. I'm still stuck back in Power of the Three. I'm trying to catch up on Seekers, Survivors, and Bravelands instead.
I gave up after Omen of the Stars, as my favorite character and namesake is Deader than Dead and I didn't see any point reading the series if she wasn't in it.
The new cover of Bluestar's Prophecy is weird. Is Bluestar supposed to be so fluffy and long furred? I thought she was Russian Blue-like.
Agreed; honestly, she looks more like how I picture Yellowfang, but with blue eyes. The new Firestar's Quest cover is alright, though.
I haven't read any recent books, but Bramblestar sounds like a real jerk. I used to love Squirrelflight/Brambleclaw but Bramblestar is becoming abusive.
Oh really? I'm stalled out on the next to last book of the sixth arc (Vision of Shadows) and I wouldn't describe him that way there. Does he get worse in the seventh arc then?
YES. but most of its opinion tbh, plenty of people think his behavior is fine and just due to stress. imo bramblesquirrel shouldve split up after omen of the stars and just stayed friends, they arent a very good couple haha
and im surprised theres so few people here who're reading vision of shadows & broken code! i know oots was bad, but the series really picked up again during avos. and the current arc is fascinating, i love the main characters and antagonist.
I never finished Omen of the Star but I enjoyed what I've read of it. Not really interested in Dawn of the Clans so I skipped that for A Vision of Shadows. I've heard that Ashfur might be back in The Broken Code though so I might finish A Vision of Shadows and start on that eventually.

The sixth e-book has been announced.
It's Dovewing's Silence. I was expecting something else, but Dovewing is one of my favourites so I'm cool with it. It will take place immediately after The Last Hope.
