Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3
(*LGBTQ+ Solidarity huggles*)
Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

Hey I've got an idea. We can just take the jobs being created in NYC that are making people move here, and push them into Bridgeport, CT and other post-industrial wastelands!
I used to live in Bridgeport, CT. Our post-industrial poverty is so legendary we got a Family Guy bit

Whenever you write OC I think you mean Ocean city. Jesus, this makes me want to move out less and less. Wonder if it's any better in Europe
I have only had cable in my college dorm, when the basic package was provided free, and for the other two years of college, when my roommates got it bundled with our internet.
I tried Sling, but there were only about three channels I had any interest in.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI often wonder why our government doesn't just focus on helping the poorer, middle, rural states more. ...they apparently ruled the electoral vote! -_-
I do only watch like 3 channels religiously. Is there a way to only watch a few channels on a package?

I know. There are some extremely poor places, like Appalachia, that desperately need government help. I don't want to get into politics too much now, but president after progressive president has promised help to Appalachia, but nothing has come from it. Appalachia was practically the headline of LBJ's War on Poverty, but it never helped them. They've held rallies, they've gotten politically active, but always nothing. The situation over there is desperate. It's no wonder that someone who promised big change appealed to them. They need big change and they're already so desperately poor they've got nothing to lose...

And that is one of the reasons I remain where I am. Low cost of living. I pay 650/month on my mortgage and make only slightly more than 50k/yr. But for these parts that is decent money.
In California or New York I would be able to afford a nice card board box
Devypu's~ Big Pony :3There have been so many failed cases of helping those states for decades, I'm beginning to believe this country has gotten way too diverse, opinionated, and varied for ONE government to handle it! Sad to say.
With nowhere to put it.
IF you actually did want to move to California though (and I'm reasonably sure you do not), you could likely afford Riverside rent. It's not too bad. Just smoggy. And really hot. Also for lols, I pay 650 a month for student housing. I share a single room with another guy.
In all fairness this is a federal system. The issue therein being that a state government can only do so much.

Devypu's~ Big Pony :3OK maybe I am looking at making Mei's costume after all.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Do it
Do it
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI mean it sounds like a good way to get heatstroke, but yeah.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I mean, clearly don't be wearing it outside in the middle of summer, tht sounds like a terrible idea. :P
"If I am to be met with disrespect, then I must first love myself with a fierceness no fool can take away." - Vraska, Gorgon assassinGo for it! Just don't wear it in the summer and you'll be fine. That shouldn't deter you. You wouldn't let yourself be talked out of buying a jacket, for example, just because you couldn't wear it in July.
Oh and speaking of rent and NY, there's another accurate article trending on the Onion

I know Vancouver has ridiculous housing prices and fairly expensive rent. It's also where all the jobs are, but I doubt I could afford to live there.
That's why places like NYC have such a huge metro population (the city's population is almost doubled by the metro population) But unfortunately for us the metro area has also gotten super expensive In cases like Greenwich CT, the town in CT that's closest to NYC (if you ever wondered what made Greenwich so rich in the first place. Convenient and less crowded than the actual city) it's even more expensive.

Is Rent Control still a thing in New York?
Fresh-eyed movie blogMy dating life looks so fucked up if you take it out of context.
1) I am good friends with my boyfriend's wife.
2) I gave her a giant red plush fox on Valentine's day.
3) My boyfriend bought his wife a movie ticket so we could have the house alone. We invited another guy over. And did stuff. Involving ropes.
4) On more than one occasion.
Okay, so the context for all this is He is gay; his wife is a bisexual lady; they're best friends from college; they got common-law married because they were both in very difficult financial situations and the marriage helped with things like insurance, college loans, property taxes, etc etc etc.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youEh, not exactly unknown if you're from landed aristocracy or have known it happen in family somewhere.
"Did you expect somebody else?"There is one very important thing I have to figure out how to make though.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Taken out of context I would've probably said "polyamory"
According to google yes. Good luck getting one of those units though.
The SF bay area basically has the same thing going on. Sure, San Francisco is expensive as hell, but unless you wanna move an hour and a half away to Manteca, or are ok living in an area that is comparatively crime ridden, prices don't really fall very much. And yeah, if you can get a unit with some form of rent control it's affordable, but everyone and their mother wants one.
Yeah I'm agreeing with this

Bet you didn't see that coming
Plus just flat out higher rent due to the property value. Rent is basically based on what you can buy for after all.
Bet you didn't see that coming
