Come on, Monolith. April 1st was over a month ago.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Gadsafuck?
If we get kicked in the face by Batman at any point, in first-person, I'll consider buying it.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass. If they wanted to give us a multiplayer Batman game, why not make an old-school style beat-em-up? Why go generic FPS?

From the article I'm getting the feeling they know the premise is ridiculous and are just going apeshit.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Totally unlike that other Batman game with City in the title. It's kind of obscure, you probably never heard of it. And I'm sure there won't be any unfavourable comparisons, no siree.
It's an XBLA/PSN/PC game.
Jonah FalconAnother article with more info.
I'm still not that interested in the game, but that artwork sure looks interesting.
"Hell hath no fury like a flaming skeleton on a motorcycle"- Ghost RiderSo, this game is essentially Team Fortress 2 with Batman, with a plot that resembles Kick-Ass.
Am I the only one who is hyped about this?
I am too.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIThe artwork is kind of a turnoff for me. But, we'll see.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass.Eh, I wouldn't mind a return to the less grim, more colorful Batman stuff, though this is kind of lacking being, you know, Batman.
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty. Not the most practical archery stance in that art there
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEIt's an interesting idea, but the timing is not good, with Arkham City on the way.

One Strip! One Strip! It's meant as a spin-off, I heard.
I got accepted into the beta. Attempted to play a few matches with friends, but it seemed as if the game very sternly wanted us to not play together. It is disappointing that such a fun game is burdened by such a horrible lobby system; the backbone of which is Games For Windows Live.
I do like the method of healing though. Screaming through a microphone at your teammates. Also, it seems as if the "stunned" players are rather powerful, moving fast and one hitting anyone that comes close.
Hello everyone.Still, it actually is an interesting change of perspective.
There is no Harley

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. You make your own Harley.
Jonah FalconI don't know I think the playbill fighters give me the creeps
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Ok. I can't find any other thread for this, so I'm gonna bring this back from the brink. (I do this instead of starting a new thread, right?)
Anyway, The Gotham City Impostors Beta is out. been for a bit.
I gotta say, what I thought was at first a shameless ripoff of Team Fortress 2 (aside from the Chinese knockoff, no clue how that's going) I think is a bit different, and much more interesting then I once believed.
Instead of classes, we can customize and create our own characters, there are no classes, so we make our own characters and nothing is locked out. the 5 different frames (going from Fragile Speedster to Mighty Glacier), different weapons and different abilities. As well as items you can use (ranging from the grenades, enemy scouter, to jack-in-the-box bombs) and other items like gliders and inflatable shoes.
I like this. Also like that they aren't taking any of this seriously.
It's a TF 2 Follow the Leader Decision, but hey, I think it's for the better.
What's everyone else's impressions?
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.
Article.
I don't have high hopes for this one.
