I only read the first post, and I have to say no.
I don't know who or what I am dedicating my book to, probably no one, or a fictional person, or blah IDK.
Actually, I will probably dedicate my magnum opus
to myself, my struggles, and people that have been in my shoes. The things I have seen, how far I have survived when so many others would give up, it is hard. I do not mean to sound selfish, but without my struggles, I can't write, and without me, there is no book, and I want to inspire others, but I do not want to lie; I think much of myself for getting this far, and I want others too as well when they make it over that summit, and finally conquer their demons, no matter how small or big of a triumph it may be.
I'd be dedicating it to people from broken homes, the abused kids, the suffering and starving people in Africa, the universal struggle of mankind living under oppression and tyranny, both at the home and under the name of government.
That is, I will dedicate it to mankind's efforts and desires, our very core of our being, our lives, and our pain.
Kind of improvised there, but I think that is actually better articulated than I thought it might come out as.
edit: though many people will be in the 'thanks' section, I'll make sure to not pass by T.V. Tropes =D
