It annoys me to no end that people are so ready to buy any bullshit if only it happens to support their point of view.

Given that this site was initially largely pro-Assange, my impression is that people here are ready to trust an accurate-looking source regardless of whether it fits their initial point of view. You seem to be adding on the qualifier of "it happens to support their point of view" to (hypocritically) support your point of view that other people act like that.

Even if there is no explicit threat of a fine, the problem is that Wiki Leaks is trying to charge for its information in the first place.

As long as you can't show me where I was uncritically believing information, your criticism does not apply. But feel free to call me out when I DO it wrong.

Btw, it's not accuratly looking, because they don't quote the passasge that would supposedly threaten people with a fine (of course, because they couldn't) while quoting other, not relevant passages to that claim . The main reason why I looked it up, btw.
