That's a bit of a dramatic description, isn't it? Isn't that normal behaviour for Anonymous?
Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken. Unrelated ME1 FanficAnon is sort of a permanent civil war except when they find another target.
Trolls Trolling Trolls. Sounds like a normal day.
Silly Anonymous!
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIYeah.. This ain't anything special.
The term "civil war" implies that there has, at some point, been a some sort of order in the group at war.
Anonymous is just a group in a constant state of chaos whenever they're not attacking someone.
It's just monday for them.

So, in the U.S., randomly stripping is a signal that you want to sing the national anthem? - That HumanThey are like the Orks of Warhammer 40k - fight amongst themselves constantly, occasionally taking a break and attacking someone else.
Uhm, that's been going on for years. I wouldn't call it a civil war, it's more like warring tribes or factions.
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Nothing new, been going on for some time. It's more like, apology for wording but I quote, "Moralfags tryign to beat internet". It's not civil war, it's just group of people trying to be internet superheroes. They don't realsie that everyone is villain.
Anonymous can never agree on anything, it's pretty normal. Larger split in Anonops is sth new but it was to be expected. It will be this way: Anonops gets disbanded -> return to the primal state of imgboard chaos -> channers can't agree on anything -> some channers finally agree on something, form a new emergent group -> epic raid/hax/ddos/trolling/lulz/fail -> the group finds something they can disagree about -> group gets disbanded -> return to the primal state of imgboard chaos
This cycle goes on and on with all minor and major Anon groups. And no, Anon never actually works as a whole. There are always those who oppose, even (or maybe especially) during the most famous actions
"Take your (...) hippy dream world, I'll take reality and earning my happiness with my own efforts" - BarkeyThis seems a bit more hostile then the usual flare ups though.
Then again it is anon.

Who watches the watchmen?Blame it on ED going away for a bit.
Frankly, I have been convinced that Anonymous was beyond saving ever since their collective harassment of Jessi Slaughter.
Fuck 4chan, Anonymous, and anything that has to do with that depraved corner of the Internet. The REST of us should just cut ourselves off from it and have nothing to do with it if we can help it.

There was never anything to save in the first place.
Anonymous is revenge of the nerds.
If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.I'm convinced that Anon is Chaotic Orange. They're capable of doing horrible, petty, sick things and they're also capable of doing brilliant things.
I tend to try not to piss them off. <_<
My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son. There is nothing one can say about anonymous as a whole, neither commend or condemn. It's not a single entity. I was once a part of it, but drifted away. In my time, there was the organized attack against Habbo hotel, but also an organized attack against a neo-nazi internet radio host, but also trolling tweenagers on their forums, but also organized prank calls to Tom Green's live show. People responsible for the different projects weren't even always the same people.
[ed.] I mean, anonymous has been providing resources to North African Pirate Party activists to fight internet cencorship, but there's still a large amount of anonymous who couldn't give a fuck about what happens to "those sand niggers".

Who watches the watchmen?I'm mirroring language they use, not the sentiment. But I'll edit it a bit.
the statement above is falseAs I understand it, Anonymous is not in civil war, and never has been. Anonymous is civil war.
I don't care much about them, because there is not much to care about — "they" did a few things I approved of, and quite some more things I don't, but it was not "Anonymous" doing stuff, it was some unknown Real Life people who, presumably, will keep doing whatever - good or bad - they were doing regardless of "Anonymous"'s status.

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Well, it's not THE Anonymous as she's moved on. According to Trolls News, the new people would need a lot of money to survive (this was the reason why the original site shut down) but I can't see them making enough to keep going.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/4chan /=/ Anonymous.
Yes THAT Anonymous
Linky
Can Anonymous survive this?
