Any other suggestions?
I suggest going with it.
What's that from?
Pretty sure it's from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, if the art style is anything to go by.
Reaction Image RepositoryI think you're right.
As a fan of the original Tove Jansson works about The Moomins (and a hater of the abominable adaptations), I feel obliged to suggest this gorgeous image.◊
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I don't think that that would shrink very well.
Reaction Image RepositoryNo, but crop. Like this◊, perhaps? I don't know about you guys, but something about the My Little Pony image creeps me out.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.YMMV. I think your crop is arguably creepy, especially with the pale-looking guys with not exactly happy faces.
The My Little Pony one seems a bit less ambiguously pleasant.
That's pretty creepy. I prefer the My Little Pony image.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMaybe something from Kirby?*
Like this piece of fan art? Or this one? Or maybe something from Brawl In The Family? I can look for more tomorrow.
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursOr maybe a kitty going to sleep.
Yeah, Then can we have a picture of Kirby fighting O2?
But I like the first picture.

O2? You mean 'The Opposition To Orcadia'? But they actually are the good guys! Why would you want to sic Kirby at them?
Ahem... Joke aside, the My Little Pony pic, and the 1st Kirby pic at post #12 are good. However, for the Kirby pic, since it's a Pixiv fanart, if I were you, I'd better ask its Japanese illustrator for permission to use first.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeWow, I'm honestly surprised. Maybe it's just that I have nostalgic memories of the Moomins and no such thing of the my little pony franchise. I find the paleness of the Moomin image calming and comforting, while the my little pony image feels like a manic depressive is throwing buckets of paint in my face and screaming at me to smile. Still, the majority seems to disagree, and whether or not something inspires sweet dreams isn't really a matter of objective reasoning. I've thrown in my five cents, the rest is up to you.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I for one don't find the Moomin picture creepy. Don't think it's the best possible image, though I do like it.
Good idea. Might be kinda hard to ask considering the language barrier, though. With that in mind, I continued my search on Deviant Art, where there is no such language barrier. The best I found were this pic and this one. Another nice option would be the last panel of this BitF strip.
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursMaybe something from here. http://www.gamesradar.com/wii/kirbys-epic-yarn/review/kirbys-epic-yarn-super-review/a-2010101584013885039/g-2010061595258540094 I suggest the bear one, but I don't know if it's a spoiler.
Having recently played the game, I can confirm that it's not a spoiler. Also, I like it.

I don't know if the arrow thing distracts, but I wasn't sure how to get rid of it without chopping the picture too much.
Bump...crowner?
I was thinking that since this is the counterpart to Nightmare Fuel, it could be a picture of something that's supposed to be scary or disturbing, but clearly comes off as cute instead.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. No, that'd be Nightmare Retardant. This is about works that are inherently cute.
I wonder what's for dinner? This makes me fill warm and fuzzy. Manly I swear.◊
Please.LIZARDS.
