Alright, so my heroine is in fact the "hottest girl in town". I'd like to explore what her life would be like. As in what sort of prejudices would be held against her, who would hold those prejudices, what sort of benefits people might give her, what sort of pressures may she be under, the gossip that may spread about her, what sort of people might be after her, and other stuff.

Right off the top of my head:

  • There will be people who assume that she's dumb. They will patronize her.
  • There will be people who will assume that she's promiscuous. They will snub her or gossip about her.
  • There will be people who will assume that she's a snob (in the case of guys, there will be those who assume that "she's so far out of [my] league" that she wouldn't even consider going out with him.) They will ignore her (at best) or preemptively snub her (at worst)

If a goodly number fall into the last category, she would be desperately lonely, because there will be few people who can accept that she might actually want to be friends with them, or that she'd date them.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.

I feel dumb for saying this, but I don't actually know what it means to snub or patronize somepony. I've seen their definitions but some examples would be far more illustrative.

To snub someone is to ignore them when interaction would be expected. She comes into the store and the clerks, who have been happily chatting with the other customers, all pointedly shut up and don't say anything to her that they aren't required to — "Hello, can I help you?", "Thanks for shopping at Blahblah's."

To patronize is to act like you're doing someone a favor, or like they're incompetent, or beneath you. The guy who helps her jumpstart her car (even though she knew how and had her own battery cables) and dismisses her with "There, there, little lady, you don;'t need to worry your pretty little head over things like this." is being patronizing.

So would it be believable for people to typecast her into certain roles if she were to audition for a part in a play? Also, what kind of unwanted attention might she get?

If she's fairly nice and people like her, she would be typecast as The Ingenue and Princess Classic hands-down.

If she's not that nice or if people DON'T like her, she could be stuck in Ms. Fanservice roles because they're just using her looks to get an audience.
